  If you fail, you keep the weapon and it doesn't get downgraded.

  There's a hidden anvil in the hardest difficulty of the dungeon that has 1.5x success rate.
  
  It's really not worth waiting for it though, since for a maximum of $12 or 4.5m you can make any weapon r6 with yesterday's event stones even if it's only 45%.

  I succeeded on my hermit and my savage fire but my Dowra failed three times in a row. Meh.

  I just used the blue one as my first special upgrade ever-used it on my Hermit staff and it worked perfectly. Always been nervous about special upgrading or even just doing much upgrading period, but I guess now I feel a bit better-it's just S6 that's the big one.

  My red upgrade on my merlins failed. I'd be glad to steal that success from you since you seem so disapointed with the outcomes~

  I always regretted not getting my Dowra SE's to r6 before I reforged a dual gun max dmg lvl 20, but thank god for that stone of protection, I am now in love with my guns.

  Got my druid staff and the 1 CRK I have built (still 4 chains short of a 2nd) both to 6, S and R respectively, using just the stones on my main. Too bad my alts' stones will likely expire before I get enough chains to finish the 2nd CRK.
