yea, the writing system of japanese is pretty hard. But the spoken system is actually simpler than english.

Fun fact: J.R.R. Tolkien had known over 30 languages and even created some himself, but he gave up learning Polish having deemed it as too hard.

Yeah... and isntead they chose Romania. Makes total sense, it's a very important country for the anglosphere.
My biggest gripe with it are the annoying, unnecessary randomly placed foreign diacritics though.
Related fun fact: That strike-through L is actually pronounced like a w in Polish.
