So lately I've been getting bored with my usual MMO's and have decided to re-pick up playing Guild Wars 2. If you guys haven't heard, a new expansion is coming out here soon for the game. Who here is planning on getting this expansion? I myself have already purchased it, in addition to the Living Story 2 story (Bought the Ultimate Edition just so I would have enough Gems for that)

I'm a little sad that I missed the whole Scarlet part of the 1st Living Story as that have left me clueless on who these new characters are and where they came from and why I'm their boss >.>

Oh wells, feel free to discuss this game or not.

The expansion already has a lot of hate against it due to pricing. I don't know if they fixed it yet

Price wise it's the same as buying a 2nd Guild Wars 2. Most expansion packs are that way aren't they? Personally I don't mind the prices. I'm hoping the content that the expansion has adds a lot of new content to make it worth the price.

They are charging players for GW2+Expansion to my knowledge there is no option to buy the expansion without GW2 included.

Also unfair to those who have been playing GW2 and just want to get the expansion. New players are rewarded while those who have been playing have to shell out more money.
