  Just to ground this whole thing and give proper perspective... loyalty programs are not beneficial to the consumer on average. Companies do this because it makes people spend more money than they would otherwise. As such, I don't mind this thing not coming to NA (though from NA's perspective, they'll probably miss out on extra revenue if they don't--it's their call.)

  
  
  True but a prosper game is a good thing in general for the players. With the recent boost to the NX prices in different countries that displeased the customers, I'm sure a move like this would boost their sales.

  To the first bold, I'm not sure it's fair to say that it's not beneficial to consumers on average just because consumers are more likely to spend more (assuming this is why you state this and not some less explained reason). Consumers spend money in order to receive satisfaction from a product. If a reward system enables more satisfaction from a product, but at a higher cost, it's arguable that the reward system (arguably the raise in price) is beneficial to the consumer.
  
  To the second bold, I completely agree. A company would not institute a program like this without receiving at least normal profits for their effort (breaking even with the efforts required to institute the program). Nexon isn't a nonprofit company, let alone a charity, they deserve to make profit otherwise we wouldn't be buying their products.
  
  I get the feeling you understand both of these points though based on your indifference as to whether it comes to NA or not (which honestly, I lean to indifference rather than enthusiasm myself too), but I thought that I would try to expand a little on your statements.
  
  I would like to note, any sort of M program or M currency does invoke my enthusiasm though.

  I could 11100000% see this happening actually. The players who benefit most from this would be the top 1%, those who have that golden snail access which converts everything to prepaid.
  - Those are the players who "should" (from business perspective) be encourage to spend more.

  On second thought, I shouldn't feel proud about that :( Even though it makes dropping $100 via Steam so flipping easy.
  
  Debating on if Steam was possibly the worst thing to have possibly switched to using. As all it does is encourage me to do reckless spending if I don't control myself.

  I wouldn't be surprised if half the forum regulars are actually golden snail inductees (or at the very least on par in terms of spending), few to none are as proud though and that's why I used your name earlier. That being said, steam is definitely an enabler to overspending on games like Mabinogi; it's incorporation into nexon, or vice versa, was probably one of the best business decisions for both parties.

  Uh, can't you just say (amount spent) x 10 - 20? You can literally remove one step and simplify the equation. Also, how much mileage does each item cost? Because, say, you buy something worth 800NX... That's (800 x .10) x 100 - 20... That's 7980 mileage. Uh, let's turn that down a notch. (250 x .10) x 100 - 20... That's still 2480. Woof. Either my math is wrong, their numbers are big, or the formula's wrong.

  I should probably tone down my pride. Makes me too easy of a target. I wouldn't say I'm exactly proud of how much I spend, more like I try and justify it to hide the shame.
  
  At this point, the only thing I'm looking forward to that would make me spend more though is:
  
  1) Tuan's Pet
  2) Fate/Stay Night Crossover
  
  I don't forsee any gachapon at this point that would make me want to spend more as Meowbinogi was the last appealing gach I'm aware of.
  
  Of course KR will most likely throw another gach that makes me eat my words. If it's one thing KR is good at, it's making appealing looking fashionogi items for the masses to gobble up. Content? Too much effort and work to do. New Fashionogi stuff? Easy pickings with minimal effort required >.>
  
  I know this, yet I still buy into it anyways, which just perpetuates the cycle of stupidity.

  Bigger numbers for less valuable currency. Maybe if 800 nx is (roughly) 8000 M a fine reforge will cost 15000 M as opposed to 1350 NX or whatever. Really I anticipate (if the formula is correct) a fine reforge will be like 50,000 M.

  Because I didn't make up the formula I took it literally from the official post. I've said that like a few posts ago so it's not like I don't know. xD I'm not sure if it's quite correct cuz those numbers do seem big but I can't verify myself as I've never spend anything on the Mabinogi KR shop.
  
  It's not really what's most important though as, even if it's implemented in NA, we'd get different vales most likely.

  Reforges are 1,200 points.

  I officially don't get this formula. Either I'm miscalculating the NX I spent or I fucked something up.
  
  I added up all the NX I spent based on my emails and I should have came out with 795,000NX which translates to $795 However I can't seem to get that close to the 80,200 point figure I supposedly had.
  
  So I've gone back several times to verify and re-verify between my emails and the dates and this is what I've come with every time:

  If i take the NX amount and 10% that I get a hell of a lot closer which puts me at 79,500 points That's off by....700 points. Let me think on this a bit more.... I'm close. Maybe it's every 100,000 you get an additional 100 points?
