So ever since the most recent patch Mabinogi hasn't been able to detect my graphics card and instead defaults to my integrated intel HD 4600 thingey. Prior to the patch the in game options menu had my gtx 860m in the drop down menu and now it only shows the intel graphics card. I've tried setting the mabinogi to use the gtx 860m in the nvidia control panel but that doesn't work. Drivers are all up to date from the website. Clean installation of mabinogi.
Relevant info:
Laptop: Lenovo Y50 with windows 8 (just updated this too so this may be the problem)
Video Card: GeForge GTX 860M
Any suggestions?

You using the same Model as mine!! (The Laptop Model)
That being said, I also got the same problem although I don't find it didn't work or glitch up or anything. Everything work fine either I'm using Integrated or GTX card. I'm also confirm that Mabinogi didn't recognized GTX 860M, maybe they'll update that later? IDK. But you still can force using GTX 860M by using Nvidia Control Panel. Although both Integrated and GTX don't have that much difference in performance (you can still 'feel' the computer using GTX).
Don't worry too much. Intel HD 4600 can handle most of Mabinogi graphic without problem (I even open mabinogi and some movie along side and the game still smooth as much as it can be). But if you find any glitch when using Intel HD 4600 just go to Lenovo Website and download a newer Intel HD Driver and anything should be fine (I'm using this for about a year now).

My laptop is the same, but with a 760M. If you force it in the Nvidia panel the game will still show integrated but its actually using your GTX card. Just click on the NVidia GPU Activity icon and it should show mabi in it when forced in the panel. Just make sure you point it at "client.exe" as the other EXE points at the launcher.
However like the above poster I would just use the Intel HD because Mabi is so old it can run flawlessly on it.

Actually, I had a model of that laptop a year ago, mabi wouldn't work for me on it, but I fixed it somehow. Now, I Have a new laptop.
I know the feels of not being able to play because of compatibility qq

Is your NVIDIA card set to be your preferred graphics processor for the whole computer? That fixed it for me, but have an ASUS with an 840m.
