hi im ranking my windmill to rank 1 almost there people told me i should rank refining after and i was planning about upgrading a mace with crit but i heared the crit is capped to 30% so it wont really make any difference so what im asking is what is the best weapon+upgrades for milling and im playing the europe ver so we still dont have dual wielding thanks :thumb:

Critical being effectively capped at 30% activation rate =/= It's useless to go beyond 30% crit because for every 1% protection a monster has, the chance to critical it is reduced by 2%.
Eg. Sirens have 30% protection meaning you have to have a least 61% crit rate to critical it.
But if you're only going to windmill (which ignores protection when calculating crit) then the 238 mace would be the best one handed weapon. When you get around 300 dex, the best one handed weapon becomes the warhammer.
Edit: Just remembered about the huge patch Mabinogi's Europe server is going to get sometime September? In which case you should prof gladiuses instead (if you plan on dual wielding) because those are the best swords until you get higher dex.

Mace - Mabinogi World Wiki
This page on the Wiki show's you all the upgrades. Choose which one you would like to use, or go with what Singleuseonly said. That would be the 238 path. Just follow the upgrade path on the Wiki and you'll be fine!
But as Singleuse said, when you guys finally do get Duel Wielding, you should go to using Gladii's. And when you finally get enough dex, 222 Broad swords.

This thread has alot of information on it, you just have to read most of it for the information. Out of the information from the thread, I would say the proffing method involving Malcom's Ring is the best bet.
Also, I'm assuming you mean proffing the mace.. XD
This page on the wiki has alot of information, but it really doesn't give you exactly how to proff. Hope I helped! :)

but how can i get Malcom's Ring quest again?

You'll have to create a newb account and just proff off that. Proffing works best if your age25+ so keep in mind, that if you make a new account at 17 it may not be as fast as being age 25.

I would think that before dual wielding, you might want to use a 2H sword instead of a mace + shield for longer stun and better damage. As for the defense, 90% of the time you'll be in deadly anyway so it's infantile. I think the 285 Claymore (8-85, 20 crit, 45 balance) is better.

but my dex is low about 30 and the dmg difference is not that big so having more defence could help

Don't get a clean Mace. Stiff(10% Critical) Considerate is a good choice as long as you don't rank Lightningbolt. Defense is utterly useless when you're going to be dead in 1 hit from all the WM you're doing.

Pretty much, but you need to continue doing the church ptj or the completion count will slowly decrease. (The job is also a bit harder.)
