Sorry if this is a repost of a question but I really couldn't find an answer anywhere.
I've read that when you play ninja you're supposed to be able to get a free spiral shuriken through the ninja tutorial quest. However, I've completed the tutorial quest (using only my own fists throughout) and never received a shuriken at any point. I did talk to Haji/Anju, and click "complete" on the quest. If it matters, I gave the paper shuriken to Haji and when I talked to him for the last time, he said he'd give me something, but he didn't give me anything. I tried talking to both of the ninja people several times after completing the quest but they still didn't give me anything.
Is this a bug? I'd also rather not pay for a shuriken from Ferghus, since that would use up literally all of my money! >.<

That questline never gave a shuriken. You have to buy it from Ferghus, and it DOES cost 10,000.

There was a free Starblade shuriken, but that was event only >.<
Some npcs sell Spiral Shurikens. Two being Ferghus and Nery in Tir / Dunbarton respectively. I think Taunes and Meles sold it aswell, but I haven't checked either shop in ages lol
