Hello everyone. I like to plan ahead for the future often, so I've been thinking of what skills I want to work on. At the moment, I'm going in this direction: r1 Smash, r1 Def, r8 First Aid, r1 Production Mastery, r1 Weaving, r1 Carpentry, r5 healing, r6 mana shield, r1 lb and firebolt. (If your wondering why my total is 1.3k and I don't have r1 smash, even though I'm more melee than anything else, it's because I started to rank range after getting r1 wm. It gave me a lot of dex, but I was still fragile). After those skills are done, I'm not sure what to do. I have 3 options that I've thought up:
The first is to work on Thunder, and get that to r1 I guess. I know that eventually, I'm going to need adv magic and the extra mana would help with mana shield. Or maybe I should go for r9/r5?
The second option is to save up ap for Crash Shot. The dex will help, but I really hate how it's almost 500 ap.
The last option would be to go into Alchemy. I've been wanting to go into Alchemy for a long time now, but I knew I should get the essential skills done first. If I do go into Alchemy, it's gonna be r1 Barrier Spikes, r1 Spark, r1 Frozen Blast, r1 Life Drain, r6 Synthesis as well, along with r1 Mastery.
So, which option do you guys think I should choose?

Think about the way you want to play when you go into a dungeon or shadow mission-- Rank up skills based on that. :)

Of your three options, having high level Thunder allows you to raft and get exploration exp very easily. This can get you back the AP after some rebirths.
If you going to have high HP, get Life Drain. It helps so much. Of course, to get the crystals, you probably want high Alchemy Mastery and Synthesis, which then require you to get a whole bunch of other Alchemy Skills to rank it.
If you stick to melee, do get r1 Smash, it helps so much. If you do range, make sure you do life skills.

The bolded part, I already know. I'm working on smash right now. Smash wasn't in the 3 options xD. Well, I do know I'll need Thunder some time, but then, I wondered how good Crash Shot is going too be. Aside from that, Alchemy looks so useful.....>_<

If you want to do range, rank Barrier Spikes to r5. You'll thank yourself later!
Crash Shot is easily the most devastating archer skill at high ranks and with cluttered mobs.
