Ok, having people talk about cheesy emotional stuff doesn't make me want to do anything. I need logical reasoning on why to help with this. Cheesy emotional stuff makes me want to go punch people in the face.

Helping and bringing people together should be logic enough.

Oh come on.
It's because of apathetic attitudes like yours that people don't do anything in the first place.
Not trying to be offensive, but really.
There is no "logical reasoning" behind helping people. It's always an emotional thing. Sure, we can help other nations because there is some economic gain, but helping people? There's no real gain from that, besides making a good change in the world and allowing someone else to be happy.

Thank you.
The thing we're trying to do with this is to get people out of that "what do I get out of helping?" attitude. Why should you have to get something out of helping people? Why does it have to be logical? There are people in need all over the world and we think that if people take the time to do what they like, such as drawing, painting, writing, film making, programming, anything you like to do, take that and let other people enjoy it with you. Draw people towards you and show them love.
Some people just need a little bit of love.

The reason to help someone is to get a feeling of satisfaction, from helping someone.
But now whats the point of making a whole "project" about it that most people are either not going to hear about or not bother to do anything.
And, what is drawing/painting/writing/etc going to really do to help someone? Sure your going to give them something nice to look at or read, but how does that show them that you actually care about them?

If you're helping someone to make yourself feel good, you're doing it wrong.
If anything, you should be helping someone to make that person feel good.
And also, he said spread the word. Obviously nobody knows about it now. That's how projects begin, Ricochet.
Dusk, is your project going to raise money in the future to help other people?

Sometimes I can't help but help people which annoys me because I don't like people.

So I'm supposed to help someone, even if they don't even give any sort of consideration to what you did in the hope that they might actually feel happy about it? You don't know my mother, works you hard then does what I did again because I apparently didn't do it good enough.
Secondly... I never hear of these "projects", nor when I do hear does it incline me to do anything other that what I already do.
But really, how is drawing/painting/etc going to actually help someone?
