Returning from a sort of hiatus

I have been go from the game for a while, not in the sense that I stopped playing, but just in that I mainly would log in for an hour or so every weekend to rebirth and level and then leave. As such I haven't really been paying attention to all the changes and now that I'm coming back I have a bunch of questions as I experiment with this new stuff. I don't think any of these things can be answered by the wiki, I've looked.

-I heard a rumor that Nexon is no longer doing Double Rainbow events. I've been holding onto an event potion that gives double skill training to all skills (rainbow potion) that they gave out at the end of Summer of Anime 2014 because I was expecting to stack it on a rainbow, but I haven't seen one in a whole year. So did Nexon decide to cancel them?

-Is there any real benefit to gathering from the big stone in the back of the shyllien preserve? Is there any good method for doing it? I get a lot of easy Shyllien from the regular deposits in area 2.

-Is there any way to turn off the beginner quests I get any time I switch destinies to a completely new one?

-Why is everything so inflated now? 8 mil used to be a lot of money but now I see things in Belvast that are 30 million? Where does this money keep coming from?

I will try to answer the best I can.

1. No, but at the same time cannot confirm that. They haven't made any announcements about doing one anytime soon unfortunately.

2. Other than training Shyllien Ecology, I guess not. If you can't gather from it easily then there's no point in my opinion.

3. Idk lol. Probably not?

4. Saga 2 Episode 6 is the reason why. People were getting 400k every 5-10 minutes doing this, and it just got crazy. Even after the nerf for it came around, the inflation still exists. Probably won't be for a while until any deflation possibly occurs.

Yeah I never had the time to go spamming Saga missions so I can't imagine spamming that one, or any of them.

And that's sad to know about the Rainbow thing because I was really hoping for another one. Then again I guess just a regular double life skill event or something would be most worth my time. I certainly don't need the AP anymore with that big AP dump they gave us a month back.

1 - Double Rainbows are very special so they're usually only done as an "oh crap" apology, or to get people on and excited for something big. Most of what we've been getting lately are more focused updates they've tossed out 2x tab training for and stuff like that.

2 - IIRC the rock should give 2x training to the ecology skill.

I've read that the rock gives double training but to be honest it's next to impossible to access it. So it's not worth the effort.

Another reason why you wouldn't want to mine the huge ecology rock, it only has shyllien crystals. You wouldnt get be able to get herbs for the other junk required for magic crafting. Heck, even the garbage herbs are more profitable (dye synthesis)
