Just tried Divine Link in a Hard Shadow Mission. Dear lord, this is by far my favorite skill in the game! Not only does it draw mob aggro to the pet, it also makes it so the pet can take quite the beating, and the auto revive skill gives you even more ways to draw aggro away from you. Providing that the pet doesn't go to where you are and you accidentally get hit by the mobs in the process.
Creating good pet AI will be importent from now on.

1. Find a dungeon room with Mimics.
2. Divine Link with a mount pet.
3. Ride on the pet, click on all Mimics.
4. Get away a little, dismount from the pet.
2000 aggros per second.
Apparently it disconnects you if your computer lags too much.

Training is pretty easy. You don't have to do any raids or anything. It's just quality time with you and your pet. Subskills are also super easy to obtain. Well only annoying one is the one where your pet has to kill 300 mobs while soul linked. RIP foxes in tir, you're life was already hard enough without an army of soul linked pets raining down upon thee to ruin your day.
Also the other Crusader Skills are much easier to rank now as well. Got them to r9 very quickly without entering a single raid.
So I realized for this one mission I need a lot more stats on my knights so I set up Kana to level up Exploration and she put on an alternative outfit and is now wandering around her area pretending to look around, equip l-rods and then attempt to explore with them.
It's so cute!

Look at this cute little nugget! I love her, okay. Favorite Trainee without a doubt.

While the skill is active it draws aggro for all mobs. I've attacked several bears and they all went at the pet. You can't really steal aggro from the pet when the skill is active. The pet will protect you till the better end while that it's active. Such loyalty.
Must be a dog.
This means transformation pets will be useful?! *~*

In all honest the new weapons and armors are nice, but they will always bring weapons and armors, something that will never stop even if the stats are good or bad, what I'm most happy about is Belvast available area finally being put to use and story development, from the videos I've seen apparently Avalon's castle has the Round Table and it's 12 seats, where Arthur and his knights gathered to discuss and whatnot, inb4 the leader of the Alban Knights is Arthur Pendragon, this is where it's headed from what I've seen, we already have Merlin, Round Table and the Alban Knights that are popping up in small numbers, I've spent sometime looking up real information on King Arthur even though this is a fantasy game, it's still some how intertwined with the real stories and I feel like eventually will happen some of the things I expect, and it's somewhat exciting.
In other things from what I've read in this thread there's someone upset because "Only humans doing human stuff". Sometimes I think Elves and Giants were added for variety in character creation more than story developing, but eh, I don't know what devcat's planning, no one does, in some future may be near or far they'll be worked on because players been demanding it for quite sometime (?), all we have to do is wait, like I'm still waiting for more development on puppetry I mean even if useless why can't they come up with more variety of control bars? Almost all weapons get the latest shinier version and control bars are just.. The same 4 options and nothing more... :'c
But in the end all we have left is wait.

A sad truth, it is. For some unexplained reason, DevCat isn't even trying to involve other races in mainstream story outside of (a small part of) Iria. I bet that all 12 knights are gonna be humans as well.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned that yet, but some sub skills for crusader skills will be significantly easier to level up.
Healing Hands, Magic Damperening, as well as Stronger Power and Breaking lies: 10,974 -> 2326
Spreading Faith, Weighed Conscience and Sinful Thorns: 3,500 -> 729 to reach lv 15
Oooh, that is good. At least people will be useful in Girgashiy raids now, finally!
The five subskills for Divine Link are up to level 15 each, I'm assuming, right? So does that mean we'll have 300 level cap for the crusader exp?
Also... Does Crusader level exp get a change in term of curve where you get level faster or does it remain the same?

Sadly yeah... I am hoping we'll at least get a giant and an elf as the Difine Knight later in Chapter 6 even if they're both the only nonhuman out of all Divine Knights.

So if you order your pet to sit down at the front of Hillwen mine B2, run in and fireball the room, everyone will vacate to the pet, kill it eventually and be trapped out of AI range to return to spot?

There is one problem with that plan. That being the range of the skill. If you go out of the skill range of the pet the skill cancels. Once the skill cancels they'll be running for your head.
Basically if you start the aggro, it will aggro the pet until it dies or the skill cancels, then the aggro switches to you. If the pet attacks first, aggro stays on pet even after it dies or the skill cancels.
I'm not sure what the max distance you can be from the pet. It's definitely more than 20m though. However, my sense of measurement may also be off. I'm not very good with Mabinogi distances zzzz

Hm. That's the catch I was looking for. Sounds like an interesting thing to test and play with though to see what can be manipulated since moving mobs past their spawn & patrol positions can be very useful, situationally.

Well actually yes, now I've stopped for a moment thought about it, the races mainly are Tuatha Dé Dananns (Human, Elf, and Giant NPCs), Fomorians and us Milletians, but Uladh and Belvast are full of humans and fomors, leaving Elves and Giants mainly confined in Iria, and they are only added in the story IF the story is developed in Iria... Then there's Portia as an exception and Andras (some others can't recall at the moment).
If we're lucky, they might consider adding them to this story since they always do adaptations like Shakespear's Chapter. As TH referred to the knights as the secret organization that saves the world might as well add representatives for each of the Tuatha Dé Dananns, thought so far all of the G19 mainstream's revolved around Uladh... Raid and camp emblems in Uladh.. Same with the anomalies, the crystal monsters appearances. Well let's just hope for some open mind considerations on their part.

Nevermind what I said about it being over 20m. It's for sure 20m at r1 judging by how far I"m able to go before it cuts off at rA. Trying to make an exact message but after a few seconds of being too far it cancels.

I seriously doubt Merlin will return, his personality is just fucking cancer, and IIRC the current director said he didn't like the Talents/Aces. Wasn't Merlin in the myth more wise and stuff? Not trying to pick up singers, pointlessly argue with comrades, and literally fail at almost everything.

- Three Warriors: All human.
- Taillteann Captains: One "Human", one Elf, one Giant.
- Alchemist Trio: All human.
- Avon Theatre: All human, one of them had the capability to rebirth into other races though that doesn't happen through G15/16.
- Saga 1: One Elf, one Giant, rest Human.
- Aces: One Giant, four Humans.
- Alban Knights: Currently all human.

Front page says 16m.
Any plans of a video showcasing Divine Link?

Okay ya that's definitely correct.
rA distance

I do plan on showcasing the Divine Link Skill. I have a bunch of footage already recorded. I'm waiting a few days though for people to settle in and watch the G20 videos. I'll probably see about processing/making the video later this week like Wednesday
