So, is it any skill that's taught, including the dreaded Hillwen/Shyllien?
I'm a little disappointed that they aren't using Lassar or Ranald or any other existing NPC teacher for this event.

Ah, this wonderful beauty. I remember when KR got this, never thought I'd see the day that NA got it too. Sweet. I hope it picks Ninja >.<

It gives you a different skill every in game day, so ~20 tries a day if you wanted.

Blah, first time I tried it I got bonus exp for wire pull.
That's at rF with capped exp.
I get the feeling knowing every skill in the game is going to haunt me for this event. :v

The dialogue in this event bothers me... It's pretty damn short and doesn't "teach" a lot; we're basically saying what's in the skill description. Also how are these kids going to apply non-life/healing skills in their lives?
I'd rather have existing NPCs come in and teach rather than this substitute. Their classes and training were more lively than this.

Hooray for more AFK events.

Hatred of afk events aside, I'm happy to have all these people gathering around an npc. Makes training rain casting way easier.

I don't think I see ninja in the selection, though I could be wrong.
Come to think of it, I don't think there's Crusader either, and I doubt Trans and Demigod were thrown in.

It keeps giving me skills I already have at rank 1 or in the case of my alternate character, skills I don't have yet/have at Novice still.

Interesting side note - If you have already maxed the current level of the skill he picks it appears you get nothing at all.
Either that or Mana Shield just doesn't get recognized as capped at 6 and can't go any higher. Either way, at least one unmentioned way of getting nothing.
