Hey Guys, can you take a look at this dialogue and see if I'm missing anything about the My Knights System that I should cover/discuss in the video I plan on doing on the subject. This is what I have written so far)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Greetings Milliteans,
Today I'm going to be discussing the My Knights System. This system takes place in Avalon Gates which is a new area north of Scathatch Beach
on Belvast Island. The purpose of this system is to send 1 to 6 different knights in trainees on missions, gain their affection, and train them
to go on higher level missions. These missions reward you with Command Experience (which is used for command levels, more on that later),
Belate Coins, AP potions for some one time missions, Training Points (more on that later) and Beltane Supply Boxes. The Beltane Supply Boxes
contain random cash shop items like Tendering Potions, Advanced Phoenix Feathers, etc. They also contain new materials that are used to craft
new armours and weapons. Details on those items are in the description. The coins and supply boxes come in 3 tiers, lower, middle, and higher.
Beltane Coins are used for this NPC in Avalon Gates. He sells Alban Stone Boxes for 70 Lower Beltane Coins, or 40 Middle Beltane Coins, or 30
Highter Beltane Coins. As well as Lower Beltane Supply Boxes for 30 Lower Beltane Coins, Middle Beltane Supply boxes for 30 Middle Beltane Coins,
Higher Beltane Supply boxes for 20 Higher Beltane Coins. The Alban Stone Boxes contain a random Alban Training stone for use in the Alban Training
Grounds. He also sells a the Materials of G20 for 5 lower beltane coins. This is used for the Novel System to gain access to the Gate of Sanctuary
BG, Caswyn, Masked Caswyn, and Pihne. In addition to Boss Zebach and Boss Female Disciple. I'll explain that system in more detail in a later video.
Now with the rewards out of the way, let's talk about the Trainees. There are 6 Trainees you can have. As you get higher Command Levels, you can
recruit more trainees until you recruit all 6. There's Elsie (a very shy girl), Dai, Eirlys, Kana, Logan, and Kaour. At first have to head to
Avalon Gates and talk to this NPC. You will then give your team a name and then pick either Kanna or Logan. In order to recruit the others, you
need to get them to affection level 3 and then talk to them about their preferred keyword 2 times at which point they will ask if you want to
recruit them. The knight you pick starts at affection level 3 and the other knights start at level 2 affection except for Eirlys who starts at
level 1 affection.
To raise their affection levels, there are 6 keywords you have to choose from (Duty, Training, Play, Food, Fashion, and Love). You can talk to them
once an Erinn day (resets at 6am) and you have 3 tries at getting the correct keywords. If you close the talk window however, that ends your
conversation limit for that day (Note of Reunion can be used once a day, costs 400nx and allows you to talk to them about keywords again). Picking
the correct keyword raises your affection by 1%, or sometimes higher. Picking the incorrect keyword will either not affect their affection or make it
drop .3%. The correct keyword unfortunately is random however there are ways to know what the correct keyword(s) are for that day. First you can pay
this NPC 1-5 lower beltane coins pending on the trainee's affection level (1 coin per affection level) to give you the first correct keyword to
ask the trainee about. The other 2 keywords for that character will still be unknown. You can also use a Note of Honesty (costs 600nx) for the
trainee to tell you all 3 keywords they want you to ask them about. Another thing to note is that Affection will drop as you send them out on
missions/make them train. Sometimes the trainees may give you a quest which when completed will also raise their affection. If their affection
drops below level 3 after you recruited them, they don't leave your team. Or at least that's the case if you only have one trainee. Unsure if
this applies if you have more than 1. If you get a knight to affection level 5, you can talk to that creepy guy with the glasses and he'll give
you a Novel Book that contains the NPC's of Avalon Gate.
Another mechanic is Knights stress levels. As you have your knights train and go on missions, their stress level will go up. If their stress level is
above 80, you cannot send them out on a mission. You can have a knight you've recruited to rest for 35 minutes to reduce the stress by a considerable
amount. During this time you will be unable to interact with them.
Now for the Knights stats themselves. Each knight has a set initial stats. Kana and Logan have the lowest as they are your starter knights.
As I mentioned previously, missions can reward you Training Points. These Training points are used to train each of the knights in 6 different stats:
Divine Power, Strength, Will, Int, Luck, and Dex. Training sessions last 36 minutes or more and during that time they will be performing various
actions around their area related to the skills they are working on for that particular stat. I'm going to demonstrate just how unique and interesting
this training can be now with Kana. Notice how sometimes she puts on a different outfit, or performs different actions? You could probably watch her
for a long time and still not catch all the little details. I'll just let this run for a bit before continuing...
You can complete the training early with Scroll of Immediate Training Conclusion (costs 900nx) which allows you to end the training early.
Sometimes the training will go better than normal and you'll get a sparkle effect as well as a higher stat gain. There's 5 different options for
each training. 7 training points at affection level 1 (raises stat by 1), 15 training points at affection level at level 3 (raises stat by 3,
lowers another stat by 1), 25 (raises stat by 3), 40 training points at affection level at level 4 (raises stat by 6, lowers another stat by 1),
and 55 training points at affection level 4 (Increases stat by 6). Higher knight stats, means higher chance of successfully completing a mission
which I'll go over next (Caps at 95% Success rate)
The Mission system allows you to send a knight out to complete a mission for training points, beltane coins, AP, Command Exp, and Supply boxes.
Command Experience allows you to level up your command level. At command level 7 you can recruit a 2nd knight, unsure at what command level you'll
be able to recruit a 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th knight. Higher Command Levels also give you access to higher missions for more experience and rewards.
Finally command levels can give you additional character stats upon leveling (Unsure if this is temporary or permanent). Only one knight can go on
a particular mission at a time and missions that give AP are a one time mission that are not repeatable. Missions can take anywhere from 36 minutes
to as long as over 17 hours long. You can view your missions at any time via the character screen as well as instantly warp to Avalon Gates at any
time as well. Clicking that same button will return you to your original location before you entered Avalon Gates (similar to homesteads) It's also
instanced just like homesteads as well, so don't drop anything in this area you don't want to lose. You can collect mission rewards from anywhere
in Erinn as soon as they are complete. While the knight is doing a mission, there will be a sign post at their location and they will be unavailable
until they return from their mission. You cannot send knights on a mission if their success rate is below 20% (their stats are too low) or their
stress level is above 80.
There is a rare chance that your knight may become injured while out on a mission. When that happens they will be in the hospital area and you can
talk to them to enter a mission where you can have more discussions with them. Unfortunately, I was not able to trigger this so I have no direct video
footage so share so you'll have to go with these images. As you talk to them, they will have a glitter effect and you will do the success animation
if you said the correct thing or they'll get an annoyed icon and you'll do the fail animation. Apparently you do this so she returns to her spot
immediately or you don't do anything and 7 ingame days later they will return to their original post. There's also an image for each trainee knight
as you can see.
With that I believe that covers everything there is to know about the my knights system. Hopefully this made you guys more excited about this system.
As always thank you for watching and I will see you next time, bye!
