Max Damage Enchant Help for Returning Player

Hi, I've been gone for a while, so I assume my enchants are horribly outdated. I'm already a little overwhelmed with the new skills/content. I'd love some advice on how to improve my gear. I mainly use melee/magic with a bit of gunner thrown in.

My current gear
Head: Oblivion Dex
Clothing: Encore Ambush
Gloves: Classic Raven (These already needed to be improved before I took a break XD)
Boots: Oblivion Viscount
Acc: Oblivion Swarming x2

most of these are still pretty decent in terms of damage, solo on gloves and boots would be a step up though and depending on your roll on crow you could also try camo, but I wouldn't if you got like 7+ damage

Other than missing Solo on gloves and shoes, what you have is good enough that the only improvements you can make are stuff that costs 10~50m for a few points of max per slot.

To obtain Solo you just need to get 1~150 contribution on desert dragon until it drops.

The stuff that would cost very large amount of gold for a few more max would be:
Awakening Successor for accessories (too rare/painful to enchant and you need 2x of each).
Long-Lasting Heroic/Champion for clothes/armor.
Backbreaking/Symbolic suffixes for gloves.
Symbolic suffix for shoes.

Solo can come from Alban as well, picked one up there myself in Advanced IIRC.

Looks like I will be hunting for Solo/Camo

For my weapons, I had just been using cheap Broadswords and a lance. I also have a pair of beams, but I never use them. Would a fanatic great-sword be a good choice? I picked up a middling roll Silence one for cheap that seems pretty decent. It's unlikely that I can afford to buy/enchant CRKS atm, which is the best choice right?

For magic, I use my fire ego, a hermit staff, and a savage fire wand (not often anymore). Should I buy and enchant a original sin staff? or is it not worth it? What about the tribolt wand? I cant see myself wanting to chaincast lightningbolt/icebolt...

CRKs is by far best, but if you don't care to bashlord, high roll pilgrims or later the Divine Bastard Swords work fine for FH. Demonic 1hs work as well.

If your hermit is not r1, getting an OSS on mari is dirt goddamn cheap. I think an 10~11 matk sin would be 3~4m, compared to a 10+ matk druid which is two to three times that price.

Tribolt is generally moreso for abusing its insane crits and not investing as much into an ego. If your ego is 60~80 damage and you intend to reach the 115, it will become better anyways, as the bypass from ego to red tribolt is likely insanely high. Probably when with both you can hit 15k normals clean uncrit. A tribolt does have the bonus of lightningbolt for weaker but more numerous, but shockwave+LR exist, as well as adv magic, and chaincast IB would be just for conserving durability by hitting deadly/almost dead mobs. I ended up selling mine after I rolled my ego with a desirable reforge.

Thanks, Esileruf. My Hermit is only r2, but looking at the original sin staff, it seems like a lot of effort for only ~5 more MA. I probably will just stick with it for now, and work on a druid eventually. Are good druids really only 10-12m?

Is my fanatic great sword a dud then? I only payed 200k for it, but still :(
