nope nothing yet as far as i see but the part 1 landing page shows that whatever this is runs from 15. october till 26 November.

There is a Page on the KR site about Samhain and it features That NPC portrait along with a screenshot of a Pipe Organ

There's some concept art here and another trailer for part 2. But who knows gameabout might be duping us.

There is a rather large new Patch to MabiKR so i'm guessing there will really be something new soonish, i'm downloading the patch currently.

My suspicion is actually that Meryl is just a Name she uses and they're actually the same person or Meryl suffers from a split personality because in the files their names are similiar and if you notice:

Both of them have the same Mark on their Right leg.

Also as said while her NPC portrait is called npc_meryl her Outfit is called "female_c4_partner_laiglinne_bss

So on her Outfit her name is Laiglinne while Ragrinne's is Laiflinne.

Also i just noticed there's a Hair mesh:

Ragrinne's hair is named female_c4_monster_LAIGLINNE_hair

So yeah it's pretty much possible that Ragrinne/Laiflinne and Meryl/Laiglinne are the same person after all.

I don't think it would fit in seasonly by the time KR gets it out. Keep in mind there's still that translation gap. KR is not going to have it out in time before Halloween even gets here by the looks of things.

Pets and outfits are one thing, seems they can knock that out rather quickly, but a story like this, this late in the season? Nope, don't think so. Next year? Highly likely as the way holiday specific stuff usually works is that if we don't get it this year, we get it the following year.

You say that, but sometimes halloween events are released at the last week of october and are on through november. People also didn't think NA would get the mansion until 2014 yet we got it like last minute in 2013, I think.

As far as I know, There's surely a big difference in the number of characters to translate, since events like The Cursed Labyrinth is far from being dialogue-heavy.

Let's see what you gotta translate in the Cursed Labyrinth (assuming we never had it here)

- Every sentence the Chairman says
- Every Sentence the Chairman says when talking to him + Buttons you can press
- Every Sentence the NPCs at the start before Belisha appears say + The sentence when you 'eat'
- The NPCs names + changing the Event Code to NOT include some things (the first time the event ran they probably had to restrict the game from giving us certain skills as we didn't have them yet such as Magic Weapon Mastery, Crisis Escape, Spell Walk, Encore, Fantastic Chorus, Song etc) + Removal of the NPC we never got (Spidertyman)
- Trickster-Belisha's Dialogue
- Belisha's Dialogue
- Room Entrance Messages + "You feel XXXX's Presence somewhere" message when passing out and being sent to the hallway section
- Girl's Notes, Girl's Diary, Quest Description, Kristell's Dialogue, Trickster's Dialogue.
- Item Descriptions (Totems etc)

There's still a lot to translate on the Cursed Labyrinth event and the first time we got it they had to specifically have an own version made as we didn't get the Aces yet (they mostly released post-Event for us) so i'd say it's at least the same effort to put into if not more as not having skills required them to not just translate but also change the NPC's so we don't get handed a Skill that may be bugged.

As far as i see with the Samhain event it could be easily done within 1-2 days but i doubt it as in KR they released part 1 quite early to make people play that and then having to wait or actually do the prequel event part before they threw out Part 2.

That would've been like if NA threw out the Prequel to Holy War event (the Crystal Bear in Northern Dunby one) and alongside it released G19.

Also you could say the Samhain event, at least the prequel, had also very little to translate as there's few long conversations in there and the main part that takes ages is running a Rabbie 1-Floor dungeon about 10-30 times.
