  Personally, as a relatively casual player, I see no point in any of these pets unless I'm missing something. I guess the wolf is nice if a player needs to get sheep stuck, but I already have one so...

  Plus it's infinitely more useful to just buy your own sheep + phantasmal chorus for infinite shearing while it sits somewhere.

  Mimics are neat for trolling Girgashiy if that wasn't fixed yet; riding a mimic makes you ignore mineral hail entirely.
