Catching Tails Event
ANNOUNCE 11/3/2015 12:00:00 AM

When delving deep into dungeons, caution is usually the best policy. Planning out your attacks, scouting the opponents and striking once necessary. Effective... but who has time for all of that? The Catching Tails event is a Dungeon-Crawling version of Tag, pitting two players or two teams of three against each other. The first to clear dungeon rooms fast enough to catch their opponent wins both bragging rights and prizes!

Catching Tails Joe
Catching Tails Event
Event Dates: Wednesday, Nov. 4 - Tuesday, Nov. 24
How to Participate
- Talk to Catching Tails Joe to get the daily quest and select a main character to use.
- You can choose to participate in a 1v1 or 3v3 match, and once a mode is selected Catching Tails Joe will place you in a Matchmaking Queue.
- The Catching Tails Dungeon is an RP Dungeon, where instead of using your normal skills, you will be prompted to select a Talent (Archery, Magic or Combat) that will define your skills for the dungeon.
- Each team will move through the ring of dungeon rooms counter-clockwise, each team chasing the other. Clear the room faster to catch up to your opponents and drop traps looted from monsters to slow a pursuing team down.

Considering the idiocy of people without their OP equipments and reforges, this'll be easy.
Curious to know what that "Infinite" dungeon pass is, though. Unlimited dungeon entries without time limit? That'd be OP

This event's pretty fun from what I've played.
So we go around in a circular... er... square-shaped dungeon clearing rooms, trying to catch up to the team in front of you, who is trying to do the same thing.
Trying to clear fast enough to catch YOUR team.
So the monsters aren't very strong.
Warrior is very useful, cuz such WM/bash.
And the leprechaun enemies drop traps (which you use by hitting the dungeon orb of the room you just cleared) or buff potions which you use as normal.
You know, the way there are traps and potions that buff the whole party...
This really reminds me of that one PQ in maplestory involving Spiegelmann.

Interesting event, but... Steamrolling Final Hit / Snap Casting Fireball / No archer advantage? :gloom:
I'm curious if it's possible to pick Archer as a Giant, like in Lorraine's Nightmare you'd get a Javelin.

Whaaat, warriors get final hit?
I didn't even see that.

I haven't touched the RP yet. I'm just saying if they had Final Hit the competition would be unjust.

Monster Carnival is what you're thinking of.
Haven't tried the event, but I'm kinda salty how bash is an option; that's going to make it easier for warriors me thinks.
Like, people nowadays don't understand what N+1 or N+Smash means, which makes it really hard to find decent partners in the Labyrinth event

It's fun, but...
Are we really limited to just 3 entries per day?
I wish the passes came once per in-game day and not real day.
I was having fun. D;

Get someone in 3 v 3 that afk's and gg you basically lose.... I hate where they make it so you cant preform a party like this, so people that afk in it fk the group and theres nothing you can do to prevent it.

I really think even with less rewards, 1v1 is better if you're the person who's serious about events.
Especially because of the fact this event randomly matches you up, one member can screw up the entire thing for everyone.

I seriously second this. I'd go at it for quite a while just because it's a fun event.
