  I got 12 leaves from a single tree twice.
  
  When there's a lot of people I can get like 4-5 leaves from each tree still.

  With a little effort (and a homestead well), this event's a cinch. :chin:
  
  I might even go ahead and bother to get the outfits (which I rarely bother with during events).
  
  Only thing that's a little bad are the people who'll sometimes linger nearby as others do all the work...then jump in to bash the tree. But that's how people are...I guess.
