I'm still here. I don't post all that much since i've been taking a long break from Mabinogi.
Settled down in the Fussa district of Tokyo; blazing fast internet out here.

...and only $50 a month!
How is Tokyo over Korea? What made you move over there anyway?

Japan itself is more interesting than Korea. I prefer the culture and food as well. Damn near everything interesting in Korea happens in Seoul, which actually has more going on than Tokyo. I've got a two-story, three bedroom house right next to a rail line that connects to tachikawa so I can explore the city pretty casually.
I'm in the Air Force, so I go wherever they send me. I've been to Scotland, Djibouti, Jordan, (a few other places), Korea, and now Japan. Who knows where i'll end up next.

I remember when my brother used to be in the Navy and they sent him to Japan/Pacific for 3 years. Sounds like he went to a lot of places in the pacific. I guess that is one perk to joining the military is all that world travelling. For me, never was a life I wanted as I prefer to travel at my own leisurely pace, that and the military life in general isn't for me.
That and the threat of being sent to somewhere dangerous is too high like how my other brother was in the Navy and got sent to Iraq and Afghanistan. Got ambushed in Afghanistan which scared him pretty badly, but he's alive at least.

Damn, that's awesome. [S]Can I crash at your place if I go back to visit Tokyo?[/S]
I've also heard that Korea isn't as nice to visit as Japan. The culture and people aren't as nice and welcoming. Japan is much nicer by comparison. I've really enjoyed it when I was there last summer.

That's really shocking, to be honest.
And I'm still here too. And there.

I'm here almost every day! Lurking, mostly.
Usually while waiting for someone else to ask a Small Question so as to not double~ +/or edit~ post.
Sometimes while reading guides for life skills.

I still lurk every so often, but I am incredibly busy preparing for a history conference that I am presenting a paper at in February. There is so much editing that goes into getting a paper ready for presentation and possibly publication. @___@ Once I am done with this conference, I'm going to be repeating the process for not only 2017, but others as well, which means a lot more writing and a lot more research.
Couple that with normal schoolwork, having some old guild mates from Mabinogi come and stay with me over break, working, and traveling, I don't have as much downtime as I used to. When I do, I would rather spend it playing league, reading, and basically doing anything except more writing as that is all I do for school. haha
Once the semester ends, I will be road tripping this summer to New York, Boston, and then I was invited on a trip to fly and to stay at different winerys in California for about two weeks. Basically, life for me right now is one event after another, but I can't say I dislike that by any means. It's a great thing. I will also be going to conventions where I live and possibly in Atlanta to cosplay this year, which is equally exciting.
So yeah, that's life for me right now. I still like coming back here though when I have the chance, but it seems like a lot of people are also busy with their lives.
Hope you're all doing well!
