[S]So, recently I ditched my old shity computer for a much better one that can actually play most games and not shit itself at so much as a flash game.
It took me only around two hours to download and patch mabi, compared to my old 4-6 hours that it used to. I started up the game, everything loaded fine and faster than it used to and I went to make a new character to start over again with a friend of mine.
This is where I was hit with my issue. The game is literally unplayable right now for me. It takes 2-3 seconds for the game to register anything that I do, if not longer at times. I SLIGHTLY fixed this by denagling and instead of being a constant 2-3 delay, it's not in long bursts with short bursts of the game acting normal.
To put this in perspective, the lag was so bad at first, that I could not even attack the training dummy in the beginner class lesson 3 times. I could get, at most, 2 attacks in before the 3rd was so delayed that when the game finally registered and Tin shouted I was failing, I was hit not once, but twice with the dummys club in an instant on my side.
Now I can do this one half the time and can advance to the defense training, but cannot get any further than that as the lag is still far too heavy.
This is so far the only game that does this. Path of Exile has no lag, Darkscape has no lag, and I'm downloading vindictus now to play with a friend so I'll update if THAT has any lag.
I have already updated my wireless adapter and graphics drivers. I did the first to fix an issue with the computer dropping the net after 1-2 hours of being on, and the 2nd to play PoE. I have also changed my MTU and saw 100% no change. I've already hidden quest info before anything else as well. I've looked around a bit online and have found very little matching my issue, so I'm finally going to make a post here.
I'll provide any additional information that is asked.[/S]
This issue has been resolved. In fixing Blade and Souls lag (which was easy to find on google compared to this) I found the problem to be the service, AsusGamingfirst. If anyone else has issues like this, I suggest stopping the service in your task manager.
