This is so strange...because I did not expected it to be like this.
The things was that I got a Sky Dragon Female wear from lamp gacha. I do not know the exact value.
Then I saw a megaphone for a trade of moon festival dress for sky dragon female. I contacted the person. Then we discussed about the trade.
According to the person who traded the Moon Festival dress for Sky Dragon, that sky dragon is about 70R and Moon festival is 120R. However, both dresses are incredibly rare. Sky dragon female is not as easy to get compared to male one. I was really unwilling to trade the sky dragon because I would have to add in money. At the same time, I recalled wearing the outfit thinking that it wasn't my style. However, due to that money factor, I decided to decline the trade.
After that, a short moment later the chat server crashed and both our friend lists were blanked out, so we couldn't contact each other for a few minutes. (I wonder if that was a critical moment in which she made the decision. I hope it was a wise one for her.)
When it got back up, the person later contacted back and told me she wanted it regardless of the perceived loss because she was really in love with that dress. (I know that it is very difficult to get others to trade a sky dragon female with you too, and it is hardly up for sale too.) I gave her the dress and the shoes that I initially wanted to wear with that outfit, and I got the moon festival dress. But I felt happy (that she got what she really wanted) and a little bad (for the loss of money - although money isn't everything sometimes) for her. Seriously, if I end up making someone unhappy I would rather not go through with the trade.
I like this new dress and I think it fits more of my style than that sky dragon female. I'm just hoping that she does not ask for it back. Anyway, I'll be mailing some of my dye ampules this sunday to her somehow as thanks for the trade.

Congrats, it's a really beautiful dress. I wish we'd get it released in NA server, but they haven't even released any of the pets that have to do with the Chinese New Year (golden pig/rat/tiger), so I kind of doubt it.

You should not feel bad.
Some people value things more than others.
The saying "One man's trash is another man's treasure." should come to mind.
I recently traded a Grace Shawl Dress for an event bat hat.
Anyone on NA servers should know the price difference.
She just really wanted the dress i suppose.

Yea...come to think about it, she was really so happy that she went to get dye ampules for the clothes just now.
I'm really happy to get such a lovely dress. Kind of sad that I can't really wear it until I explain to my guild leader how I got it. Things like that make people jealous easily =/

Hmm how was Sky dragon wears usually obtained?
NA wiki said the female version is released in NA but apparently no one got it yet.
And it said male version is not released on the wiki.

I got mine from the gold lamp gacha over here. But I was only shocked and was only happy about getting a rare thing out of the gacha. (I normally don't buy gacha but this time was an exception because they released succubus outfits - eventually gave up since I got a lot of crap except dorren's robe. Out of some frustrations I bought lamp gacha and out it rolled.)
I can't help wondering what kind of person will prefer sky dragon female over moon festival dress though...because it seems like a sexy type of outfit and the other is elegant...

Hey, don't feel bad. As long as it makes you both happy, why care about the comparison of the monetary value of each item? Don't let money run your thoughts.
On a side note, I remember a year ago someone offered 1.2mil + Goggle Cap for my pure red Broad-Brimmed Feather Hat with dark leather and white feather. But I turned him down because the hat meant a lot to me. A whole lot.

Hey, don't worry about it
If it was a trade where you guys came face to face in game and made the trade, there shouldn't be any complaints from her.
Honestly, if you really like that Moon Dress, just say that all trades are final if she asks for it back.
Plus, it was her that wanted to have the Sky Dragon in exchange for the Moon Dress in the first place.

That's what I plan to do.
And since she wanted to dye the outfit I assumed it was a final decision. (Since I already dyed that outfit and wasted quite a bunch of dyes on it but didn't really like it enough.)
Here's the moon festival dress. It's the dress that chinese fairies wear.
