The policy was changed some time ago so that the dollars spent on NX directly translate to NX received:
If you buy a $25 KK card in US, that'll directly translate to 25k NX. If you buy a $25 KK card in CAD, that'll actually cost about $30... but in exchange, you'll receive 30k NX. (Yes, they are capable of keeping track of the country the card was purchased from.)
TL;DR unless their policy has changed since then, it doesn't matter what the actual price to receive a bundle of NX is, you'll receive what you purchased at a $1:1,000NX ratio. That formula holds in all countries that use dollars.

Yeah, it's still in effect. I bought a 10k Canadian KK card the other day and got around 8k NX.

The exchange rate is $1 USD = 1,000 NX.
So yes, if you're in Canada, a 25k KK card will cost you $31~ CAD and only give you 25,000 NX.

i thought the KK wasnt taxed so that means you would pay $25 but get only 19k nx ?

Its not Tax. USD is worth more than CAD so we pay more for the same product.

^ This.
If it makes more sense, think of it like this;
$1 USD = $1.25 CAD = 1k NX
...
$25 USD = $31~ CAD = 25k NX

Welp. There went any interest I had in spending money on them.

I stopped buy it the day they changed it.
I know it was highly in our favor before but I don't any reason to support Nexon anymore.

It makes sense from a business standpoint. Previously, they were losing money.
From a larger economical viewpoint, we're not paying any more or any less. We're paying the equivalent of exactly $1 USD = 1k NX, just in our native currency.
From a Canadian viewpoint, holy shit that's expensive.

This pretty much.
Especially with the accessibility of buying codes online from online code shops, anyone could buy CAD NX cards while living in the US and used that to their advantage (essentially buying discounted NX). Basically Americans ruined things for everyone, gg.
