  I honestly like this step.Where Nexon fail is compensation for players mods (and gross immaturity). For examaple, giving better texture options (ultra low / low / med / high)and making CP reads a normal function/ option to block CP is a start. Baisc stuff like that.
  
  And pleassse. differentiate weapons better. A 90dmg sword feels like a 90damage mace. Giving us that animation alter system would also help. I also have....ideas

  I remember back in 2010ish when they held a music contest, two of our players got banned because they did not realize that we were doing a trio.
  
  Well, Mabinogi has no major update since Janurary in KR, and next patch is expected to arrive after their 12th anniversary, which will end in mid July, that is six months without major updates.
  
  I realized that NA just got G20 so it might not be an issue, but at least in TW, people are already leaving due to lack of new contents, as well as random kicks from the NGS.

  Step29 was banned for Pake use, and has hoarded game exploits to threaten Nexon with. Nexon has made it very clear (to him, directly) that he is not welcome on the game, and honestly if I was Nexon I would be banning him on sight as well.
  
  I believe their forum actions in regards to him are justified in this case.

  Congrats, seems like we currently see the effects of Nexon making Mabinogi Great again....
  Either they had a severe Outtake just now, shut down the servers on purpose or DDoS-Season has begun.

  Yeah, I'd imagine it was something as bad as that. I've seen people post screenshots with mods in plain view on the Mabi forums not getting banned and I'm sure there's a reason for that. When said staff bans players on sight, there's been some serious shit.

  People worry way too much about a stupid official policy. This won't stop mods. If anything it will be a quick crack to get around any new security. This doesn't mean Nexon staff are seeking anything out. It just becomes a matter of don't ask, don't tell like other MMOs.

  Now I'm starting to get worried on Steam, if you run Mabi through Steam.... Then again, maybe they're not affected. I hope. I just haven't been using it lately because of its tendency to not let me log in again every time my internet decides to throw a fit.

  Then again, maybe not.... If I were him, I'd make suggestions to patch up these exploits and gain favor with Nexon/Devcat, even going as far as giving them a patch code if they're willing to listen. Following the footsteps of other communities giving positive thanks to community members that help is always a good idea.

  Maplestory is even worse imo. Too much of a cash grab. The entire game is pay to win. You can't beat any of the endgame bosses without paying out the wazoo on cubes.
