I can't find anything on the wiki, or via google searches. Does anyone know, suspect or even assume anything regarding drop rates, cp values and days of the week?
Anything would be appreciated!

- (Confirmed) First is if there's a drop to begin with. Instead of having chances of nothing in the drop table, monsters in Mabi roll whether they should even drop anything at all first.
- (Generally Agreed) Relative CP seems to have an effect on this. Ancient hunting weakest versus strong+ has notable differences for example.
- (Theory) The Wednesday bonus most likely applies by reducing this don't-even-try-to-drop chance, since that'd be a logical and simple way to code it.
- (Theory) The chance to drop nothing may be the same for all monsters, since I don't know of where it could logically be specified and have not run into it anywhere.
- (Confirmed) Drops are divided into separate pools (2 or 3 usually), with various items in each pool.
- (Confirmed) The different pools have different chances of being picked. Once a pool is picked, the game randomly picks one item from within that pool. The only time there's weighting within a pool is when the devs list the same item more than once, which happens every so often.
Numbers and more concrete data could potentially be dug up from the client, but I'm no good at reverse-engineering compiled functions (when you can't run the code in question or find a bytecode match in the current revision due to the compiler and compression changes over time) and I don't know anybody that's good at it either.

Alrighty, thanks for that info. It looks like the most strategic thing I can do, as far as acquiring Rosemary mats, is to stockpile silver/gold play pages until Wednesday, stack -CP, and spam the hell out of New King's Request then.
Is there any recommendation for how high I should stack? Do Awful/Boss seem more likely to drop things than Strong?

I haven't done any sort of testing like that.
