I drew my elf the other day and here is the result:

Might do more of these if anyone is interested o:
Critique is welcome, I'm a relatively new artist - drawn on and off for years but total drawing time is actually quite low.

Really nice, I like the amount of details you put in it. One thing (not really a complaint, more of an observation) - many people draw chibi characters without neck or only a slight indication of it. I think it looks better that way, but I'm not really an expert on the matter.

Thanks for the tip! Next time I'll try that and see how it goes, it did seem like something was a bit weird about it.

This is really cute and I love the attention to detail! On that note though be careful of adding too many details, specifically for the hair. In this case, all the details in the hair completely contrast from the simple shading of the rest of the drawing so it looks out of place and rather distracting. If there were fewer, thicker lines and more empty space it might match better with the rest of the drawing. This is just my opinion but I hope you find it useful for future reference.

Thanks for the feedback. The details thing is important for sure, I'm still learning how to balance that - I feel this picture could have had a bigger canvas and work better that way.
I'll try to make the hair pop out less next time though!
