Skype is the worst application out there and no one I know is still using it. Discord is a thing these days, although I don't know any mabinogi servers there and recent hacking spree was somehow related to using Discord (or so I heard), so I'd rather look for some recommendations myself first.

Skype sucks. Complete trash.
It's impossible to use now, can't type to friends without having the window freeze on me for 1~2mins. Constant.

The only way I could possibly use skype is through the web client. The actual windows client is complete garbage. I doubt people would still be in the skype chat for these reasons - but who knows, maybe you all can start a discord group.
