So im working on my elf and have started ranking some of the combat skills, i have all rank 1 bolts and high levels of magic just not ice spear, semi decent archery now the problem i have is that i cant take a hit, i have like 200 hp and 200 stamina, and after the changes to dungeon my magic doesnt even hit as hard anymore and i have like 500-700 int on average. Any advice on becoming more of a tank to compensate for my pathetic lack of damage. BTW my total is 1150

These two just don't mix.
I guess you can try Mana Shield and maybe Royal Knight armour, although the latter will reduce your dex significantly. You're better off working on increasing your damage.

Ya wot m8. I survive dragon meteor with MS+targe defense with Mana reduction set effect. You can perfectly make yourself nigh-immortal with mana shield without gimping yourself.
Anyways, I'd suggest until you get to the point where that's actually an idea to use RK/Targe with your preferred wand. MS is broken but up until a certain point RK/Targe makes you survive most to all things small.

I don't use mana shield because I have like 400 mana and use mana a lot with my magic so it isn't a real option. The main reason I want Tankyness is because I have max light armor mastery and rank 5 shield mastery and still get almost 2 hit ok'd by gremlins in Barri basic, well the shield was kite so that could be a problem my armor is Gamyu wizard robe armor. And even if I were to focus power or defence my magic is meh now with the buff to mobs from the revamp and there isn't much I can even do to increase damage other then weapon upgrades which i have been trying, most of my magic abilities are already maxed out with my isn't magic still around r9 but they seem to work fine to bad it takes to long to charge, and my dex is like 250-300 so my archery lacks abit(but I'm wanting to hold off on ranking it because the ranking is easier then magic and it's easy to find monsters that can rank it up)

I have rank 1 on shield mastery and both armor mastery and i can just join with a crappy armor and a cooking utensils as a sheld and the only issue i have on barri dungeon basic and normal are the bosses which can actually deal some real damage to me (and some very rare criticals from magic damage thanks to the imps).
The only damage i am really afraid of is alchemy damage because that ignores my defense more often that not and really powerful foes since i am not good enough.
Your issue with shield mastery can just be solved by taking advantage of the 100% repair events so you let mobs use you as a rag doll and when your shield breaks then you take it to fergus.

With 700 int you should be one-shotting everything in Barri basic, including the boss, with Lightning Rod or even Fireball and fully charged Ice spear.
If you don't have it already, get R5 Song and max Lullaby - with that you'll be able to kill almost everything in a room before they even wake up. There's no better way to avoid getting hit than making mobs immobile and asleep.
If you're still adamant on making your elf tankier, do consider Royal Knight set. With enough dedication you can get it for free and dex penalty doesn't matter when you use magic.

Keep in mind revamped dungeons = tankier mobs.
The dungeons are reported to have been less beginner friendly.

I knew they had atleast 20k hp, my 3k fire bolts did like 5% of their hp.
