Miss the old days of Mabinogi? Struggling to find a reason to continue playing? Just want a change?
Aura Project, as you may or may not have heard of is a small community of coders and geniuses who are currently coding an open-sourced server emulator of Mabinogi, available for anyone to play. http://aura-project.org/forum/
So a veteran player from a while back who goes by Dan decided to go ahead and create a small "private" server, called Bijou, available for any and all to play on.
It is basically Mabinogi, but before any of the major Generational updates as Aura Project has not updated to G1 yet (it will release on Thursday).
For anyone who misses the challenge of the old days and just wants to have a bit of fun playing "old-school" Mabi, feel free to hop on the server and give it a try. All the players will be low-leveled and everyone may need to collaborate just to clear the simplest of dungeons. It's an easy process to connect to the server and you can still play on Official Mabinogi. Yes, the server is still a relatively new project, and it has its own flaws and is not exactly a perfect version, but it has a lot of potential.
