Gray screen when I load in

So first off fuck this nexon launcher its so awkward but that was a problem I already solved. My actual problem is when I click play on the character, I load into the commonwealth and my game just loads a gray screen with the music playing in the background. I tried uninstalling and nothing happened.

radeon r9 290 or something

edit:fixed windowed mode did the trick.
