Assuming this guy went with the Tempering upgrade path (with unique upgrade at end), he should have more balance/crit if it was smithed shouldn't he? Even a grade D finish adds 1 Balance.

Feels very hard to believe someone would actually have the blade by now.

I want to ask them how the manual was obtained. No, really - because we don't have that info on the wiki yet. I know everyone is too lazy to contribute to it, so if either the "crafter" or the GM would kindly tell me where the manual drops, I'll edit it in for them.
(But seriously I'd be surprised if any of them can answer this LOL)
Unrelated to the core incident itself - GM Nkeona either has really shitty reading comprehension or she's dodging the question. The ticket clearly says the suspicions are on a GM, not on the player, yet she immediately strawmans the accusation and answers a completely different question.
It's funny to see people post this response as "proof" of innocence when it actually does not clear Sabina's name at all.

Jesus fuck, a shitstorm of such magnitude is crazy, even by mabi community standards. It's kinda like drama is the only thing left in the game by now.

Sensible players already know it drops from Phantasm. It's that everyone who's looking for the manual basically knows where it drops from.

Wouldn't be the first time one of their veteran helper players got something for free is all I can say.

Sure it comes from the hardest dungeon in the game, but peoples' reactions are worse than SAO and the whole 'beater' thing.
That damage + piercing looks nice though.
Wait, there's Dan rank for counter AND Assault slash? Or does the description mean 'Master'?

I don't know too much about this but...
Please correct me if I'm wrong but didn't it take KR Mabinogi at least 8 months to craft their first Soluna Blade and their server is WAAAAAAAY MORE populated compared to NA Mabinogi? It have been little over six months since Phantasm is out for us and I don't think Alexina server (most populated server) even have more than 10 solunite and lunite materials or so as of right now...
So the fact that the GM said the player legitimately crafted the sword and it's from Ruairi who is more dead than Mari and Alexina server make it extremely suspicious too...
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
edited:: Look like they said it was an error on their part...

Wow that's surprising. I would never have imagined nexon NA would give a crap. Not that this really makes them any better, but it's still a surprising result imo.

The thing is, they [UB]didn't[/UB] give a crap. The whole ruairi discord server (including people from other servers like alexina and mari) had tried to talk to Nexon about it, yet their response was that the item was rightfully crafted. NA tried to cover it up, but it was pretty obvious that it was generated because it did not have bonus stats. When people spread the word to the whole mabi community, Nexon KR, reddit and other sites, the issue was THEN taken seriously by Nexon NA.

Ah yes the bullshit that ever spews from Sabina's mouth. It's this and many other things that keep me from Mabinogi. It does seem very sketchy that a player would obtain this through honest means. It's in the GM's best interests of course to cover their own asses. In the end, the NA staff don't give a fuck about us. They only care about our wallets and squeezing them dry through gachapons.
"Through on-going investigations, we discovered the item was obtained by the player via clerical error."
Oh what a bunch of horseshit. The things that come out of their mouths. I don't trust them one bit. I have a feeling that KR put pressure on NA to do something about the situation as it had spilled over to the KR channels. Had KR not made a fuss of it, I highly doubt NA would have done anything.

What's sad is that the uneducated player who doesn't really know much about the issue will probably think this is a good thing and that nexon is doing their job.
