  You may very well have helped me find a loophole to rename some of my limited pets and to get my old pets off my other account. Lol, we'll see if these come out. As risky and odd as this is I may actually find a use for it.

  I feel that this might eventually lead to character medals....
  Which I really feel is questionable whether it should be done or not, but good for people who want to transfer ownership of their characters, so that the characters will not really die with them.
  Since mabinogi live forever but real people do not.

  this could be useful for some people, say if they wanted to restart after being hacked and transfering pets to their new main accounts, or well now Mabi's become a game that really can be played without the nx, as long as someone else is using nx xD
  
  being able to trade pets do make sense though, just as people would give away puppies irl etc
  
  -useful for those that wants to transfer accounts and have limited pets
  - doesn't affect those that don't need it
  
  I bet character medals really will be next
  seeing as paying players get things that boost MP,HP,EXP,STM,Defense,Protection,inventory,(camping penalty taken away), even skill exp now, free resurrection(well not free but you know what I mean) enchant protection, repair protection, all those utility coupons (shops/smiths/offices etc)

  Actually that part is currently being considered a bug right now
  "It isn't supposed to reset your previous ranked skill" is what we think of for now
  They are going to do another patch 3hours from now.
  Hopefully Things will become clear after it.

  Yup, It will raise your pet's skill R but only whithin your pets Rlimit.
  This training kit should be usefull for pet Dragons.
  Their dragon breath skill can go up to R1(which by the way pulls out massive dmg. its dmg was like 2300 or something like that)

  It shouldn't decrease as the pets age, since the bonuses become so worthless at Ages 10+.
  
  People would have their pets out more, if this change happened. Especially for those max damage bonuses.

  I'm not entirely pumped for this. All other pets will dim in value compared to the Dragon pet. Those dragons are the God Tier of all pets ever released in Mabinogi. Besides, most pets aren't that great unless the owner really trained them hard while they were still young, so it's natural to predict that rare pets that are at high levels with great stats will be worth a lot.
  
  The only thing I really see in this is that there will be tons of Dragons put on sale though o3o;

  yeah thts what I'm worried about :<
  
  Dragons are just overspec.
  They have special ability that blows away/stuns enemies around you when summoned.
  You can mount/combat while mounting.
  They are fast on land and air
  They have a very high combat abilities
  They have dragon breath which if you trained it well its dmg will reach up to 3k
  They have long summon time
  Last but not least, They have HUGE inventory.
  
  currently there is not pet that can outdo a dragon
  AND IM NOT LIKING IT!!!

  ...and they outclass everything else. Thus destroying variety and turning an army of Thoroughbreds, transformation pets, Mini-bears and snakes into an army of overpowered dragons. B-o-r-i-n-g.
  
  Nonetheless, this is a step in the right direction. I wanted a pet revamp...so this is progress.
  
  Things to change:
  1. Remove/rebalance companion bonus degradation
  2. Improve pet potential.
  2a. Rebirths extend pet daily summon time.
  2b. Skills obtained through rebirth (shields, etc) are still usable.
  2c. Total level multiplier. (Total level/4) Ie: A pet with a total level of 100 would have it's stats gained through leveling/aging/transforming boosted by 25%
  
  That would make pets worthy of training, IMO.
