A warning about those double exp potions.

  So yeah, after posting my thread yesterday, I decided to spam surveys for NX, and figured Id get a little boost in refining, I made a plan and everything....But the potion didnt work the way I thought it would, and in fact, I have NO CLUE, what it did...(Or the wiki is wrong, or I read it wrong.....)
  
  Heres what happened:
  (Turned on furnace, ran over to it, drank the potion, started refining silver ores, at rank 9....)
  
  Now, unless Im reading the wiki wrong, the following give the this amount of exp....
  
  

  Successfully refine Silver Ore. 10.00 3 30.00
  Fail at refining Silver Ore. 5.00 6 30.00
  Successfully refine Copper Ore. 2.00 10 20.00
  Fail at refining Copper Ore. 1.00 30 30.00
  Successfully refine Iron Ore. 0.20 75 15.00
  Fail at refining Iron Ore. 0.10 150 15.00
  

  
  So....I spammed silver ores in the window, and it said those were complete.....So...If I got double skill exp each one should have given me 60 skill exp total right? Which would give me 120 skill exp...I had 60 skill exp..., so I started throwing in any copper and Iron I had....This is my current position
  
  Finished all silver fails and success
  copper success (2)
  Copper fail (4)
  Iron success (18)
  Iron fail (6)
  
  72.20 skill exp....Now lets do some math....Assuming the potion did nothing at all,I would have...
  60 from silver
  8 from copper
  4.2 from iron...That totals..72.2..........
  
  So.......Did nexon just give me the finger?

  Yeah, I just checked my trasaction log on the site, it says
  09/10/2010 Mabinogi Double Life Skill EXP Potion Online-Item 2400
  
  In game description sates that for 10 minutes, skills under the life skill tab will receive double the amount of training exp..
  
  edit: I also did not destroy the potion, cause after 10 minutes it said that it wore off.

  I believe they just gave you the finger then. That sucks, I was kind of hoping they'd work so i could use them for windmill title later. Mind you i don't understand them that well so i could be wrong.

  Did you keep track of successes and fails?
  
  If you notice, all your training requirements are even numbers. Which means instead of
  1 Silver fail = 5.00 Prof (x2) = 10.00 Prof
  it did
  1 Silver fail (x2) = 2 Silver fails = 10.00 Prof
  
  So you can't get more prof than originally possible from one category.

  So let's say for your Silver, that 30 from successes would become 60?
  
  The way I saw these potions, I saw it this way:
  You do 1, you get 2 for the requirements, and the normal amount of prof for each individual training.
  
  So let's say you're training Windmill:
  You kill 200 Strongs = 400/Whatever
  And you get the Training for the 400.
  
  The way you describe it, you seem like you'd expect:
  Killing 200 Strongs = 200/Whatever
  and you get the training for the 400.
  
  I see it as the way I described it for the first "Windmill" Scenario.

  Requirement A gives x proficiency normally, so it should give 2x now.
  What I said was, you train one requirement, it counts as if you trained 2. So if you completed 1/30, it gives you 2/30.

  Just what like everyone else is saying, these potions double the training count, not the experience earned.
