  Only if you don't publicize the burning. Unless they happen to be donated to you for free, I don't know why you'd waste money to do a pointless action like that.

  Relationships with Islamic countries have always been shaky, starting with the carving of Israel out of Palestine and the constant defense of Israel from Islamic countries. Our occupation of several Islamic countries doesn't help us either. Add on to the fact that the US has nukes while it tries to de-arm countries like Iran, and you can understand why they hate us so much. People in America constantly complain about incompetent police and politicians, but that stuff is the norm there. It's incredibly easy to pin the blame on America, especially with the accidental killings of innocents and cruel actions of some of our soldiers.

  Sure, people have the right to protest this in the US, but of course we're paying close attention to this. Our troops are in Iraq and Afghanistan, so they will be the ones that will take the brunt of our actions. You don't show your worst in a job interview, and likewise, you wouldn't want to have Americans burn Qurans when America is currently trying to pacify those countries. Quran burning sure doesn't help America garner any foreign support, which would be really helpful right now.

  WHICH IS EXACTLY WHY the government isn't intervening.
  
  BUT, we HIGHLY suggest it not be done.
  
  Lets face it, burning a Quran will incite quite a bit of international rage. This is more or less just a case of uneducated retards thinking its the religion that caused all the problems, when its not.
  
  Chillax mentioned the problems it could cause, but I just wanna toss in that we have a very large population of Islamic people here in the United States. The last thing we want to do is incite community issues and violence.
