Ya know, in case a thread of yours gets out of hand?
I mean, it'd help, right?
There are many times in the site where we needed it, when a mod isn't on, and we had to wait...
Yes or no?
Like...ONLY your thread?
It's possible.

But mods are almost always on anyways ._.

Almost is always.....
Maybe only for those times where it's desperate?
Or make it where you have to purchase it?

Seems like a way to run from people disagreeing with you. It's up to mods to decide when things get out of hand.

when you see mods on constantly there is a very very high change that they just went to sleep with the page open

a high change?
Anyway, its shows active people based on activity. If you see them on the active list, its because they've been opening pages, not AFKing.
If you don't believe me :
http://mabination.com/online.php?order=asc&sort=time&pp=20&page=1
It keeps people who'd loaded a page in the last 15 minutes on the recent users list.

If you just report it, a mod who is online will see it..

IMO it seems like a really good idea to stop trolls before they even start
would most likely half to be a privilege for people who can handle that kind of power
/r/ing to move this to debate section

There's a few good points to closing threads, but it's almost as bad as letting people delete their own threads. People would be able to close good topics for no legitimate reason, causing annoyances and disruptions to the community. It would only be good in the markets, but I'm not sure if I can enable it for only certain forums.

It logs you out after a few hours.

I've never actually tried, but I assume it's not possible because it's a "usergroup" option. I may look into it.

I don't think this is a good idea.
Mods are held accountable for their actions, and they operate under a set of rules.
Users are not held in the same way, and, even though the option has good intent, users will abuse it.
If I say something has gotten out of hand and a mod says that it has not, then it has not, so I have no right to be closing things.

Okay, then perhaps only for the market section?
It'd be much easier IMO for a buyer or seller to close on their own.
