Vote, I just want to see how people deal with this sort of situations.
I usually split profits between everyone in the team, be it friends or strangers. Unless the people in my party are totally leeching off me.
Also, take note that the poll is made public. I wanted to edit polls to make it anonymous but I can't find the option to do so.

If I'm specifically running for the page (and my party members know), they give me the page if it drops. Common courtesy, I think.
If we're just running the dungeon and no one there really needs the page, I guess the person who finds it can boast about it and keep it, yeah?

If I am doing it with friends/guild = Split unless they don't want to for some reason. If someone needed a page, I may or may not ask that person to pay part of the page depending on who it was.
If I am doing it with stranger (very unlikely), I would most likely just run away with the page unless I feel that I wasn't the only one doing all the work.

Definitely split it with other people if they're friends, unless they don't want the page, then I sell it for myself.
And if someone else's running the dungeon for the page and I get it, it's always theirs.
I don't like to page steal :3

If a person is finding specifically for the page in our team, we'll definitely give the page to him. Just the way you said it.
I find it really annoying when someone does a mad rush for the bosses (especially bright red spider of Alby Int 4), which is why I choose to do profit split if nobody is looking for the page. The people I usually run dungeons with know my way of doing things, which was influenced by the older players we interacted with before they left the game for good.
I can understand how people do things differently...I had this situation today and was pondering over it, which is why I put up this poll.

Unless they ask me that they are running the dungeon for that page or pages, I keep it and do what ever with it.

My priority is:
1). If somebody in the party needs the page, they get the page.
2). If there's anybody in my guild/friend list who needs the page, then just give it to them.
3). If I need the page, I use it.
4). If it's their pass/dibs, they can have the page and do whatever with it.
5). Sell it and split the profits with whoever wants a share.
6). Sell it and give the profits to a guildie/friend who needs the money.
7). Sell it and keep the profits.
I never ran a page dungeon and sold it to keep the profits to myself; it is a last resort for me. It's a main reason why I make very, very little income running for pages, but that's just how I do things. It makes me comfortable and happy that way.

If it's a run for someone, then I give it to that someone. If no one in the party needs it, but a friend or guild member needs it, it goes to them. If not, I tend to keep them because if I'm not running it for someone in the party, it's usually, "Oh, hey, look a pass, let's run it".
I don't run these very often though, hence the urge to keep them to sell x.e

ade pretty much summed up my response, but yes i don't usually run them unless someone else is running for a page, so it usually goes to them or someone else i know who might need it, before i sell it.

Priority always goes to whoever needs the page. Otherwise the profits are split evenly among the people who ran the dungeon (regardless of whether they are friends/guild or strangers, although the chances of running an int dungeon with only strangers are much lower).

I usually only run non solo dungeons with friends so I usually split unless they are very rich people and is fine not getting much profit.
-
Chiri wrote on 2010-04-20 18:58
Option 3. Though usually I just let whoever owns the pass decide.

Strangers : Selling and splitting takes priority over needs. I only agree to giving it to a member who "needs" it if it is clearly established before the party is formed. If somebody wants it, then they have to compensate the rest of the members somehow. Reason being that we can't verify how the stranger uses the page, they might say they need it and just run off to sell it in secret.
Although, I always debate what to do with it with the other members until a fair consensus is made.
