That means I'd probably play better in Full-screen, then.. I'll keep that in mind for when I'm actually actively playing and not AFKing (as is the case lately). Thanks for that.

I think it's better full screened for me since my comp can handle it

Full screen seems to have less lag for me. I never play with window mode because i get annoyed by it o.e

Windowed mode is by far less laggy. And with my computer in full screen there are 2 giant black bars on the sides so :l

Window mode, tried full screen in G1 - G2 days and went to window for multi tasking.
Not to long ago I tried full screen again, even with the hinder to multi tasking I figured it would help more in dungeons, I was wrong.. Golem summoning lags each time it goes from the user to the golem and back again, that delay alone put me back to window mode. This lag is also apparent in CCing and some other tasks but I get the feeling mabi wasn't designed for full screen well.

I run full screen when i want a more appealing game. I also noticed i get a jump of frame rate in full screen mode, compared with window mode with aero effects turned off. Technically I didn't noticed the frame rate jump until i had fraps display my frame rate and i was like "nice". An increase of 50 frames a second. xD. I have to admit I do like full screen mode, but i play window since i feel compelled to multitask with the likes of various activities. Even with 2 monitors, time to save up for 3...D:.
I also notices that to get the true effect of full screen, change the resolution to your native resolution of your monitor, then access full screen, or else mabinogi stretches out the resolution that you have it set on. Full screen mabinogi at 1900x1200 looks really good. Each of my monitor is 1900x1200.

I want to steal one of your monitors.

On Windows XP and Windows 7 (with Aero off), full-screen runs smoother for me.
A couple problems with full-screen (black bars on the sides, lagging when using golem, etc) may be due to using wrong resolution settings as wolf mentioned. Uniquely sized monitors (such as my netbook) won't have access to the right settings, but it still runs way better for me.
I feel like multi-tasking is cheating the question because then you're not really playing Mabi, more likely standing around or something. I don't see how you can be doing something else in the middle of triple spawn dungeons or whatever, aside from IMing or something quick.

Peaca -> wiki'ing.

That's your fault for hiding guild chat while everybody was talking to you :v
