Metallurgy advice

  Anyone have any advice to getting more silver in metallurgy? I seem to get maybe one stack-2 only per 2 blessed sieves. Also, I have an overload of copper everytime maybe 10 stacks. Though im working on refine, thats not a problem but later on im gonna need tons of mythril,silver, and gold.
  Also, where do YOU metallurgy? I do it at quila but considered the cor river area seeing as that's the only river i believe but idk how to get there. People said u need to raft there.

  Unfortunately silver ore is the hardest ore to obtain, and the answer is that silver-seekers will just have to be lucky and patient.

  To get to the river in Cor, you must raft and take the right branch of the river, causing yourself to fall over a steep waterfall. Do not fear, though, because rafters only die on rare occasions. Humans are quite resilient for better or worse. A clever human would bring a housing coupon, eliminating the need for future rafting trips.

  That exactly. I tend to bring a lot of sieves just to avoid making a lot of trips between characters. Use them all til they break, repair on another character, come back, repeat, feed ego eventually >_>

  makes me wonder why sieves can gain proficiency. hopefully devcat will make them have specific ore upgrades, like pickaxes, one day :I

  Patience and a little bit of luck I guess. I've never sold any of the silver ores that I've collected since I started metallurgy, and I really only have a few stacks. =(

  Sieves gain proficiency painfully slow for the amount of durability they have. I thought about proffign one but I don't see any significant prof gain before it starts getting broken. Specific ore upgrades would be nice.

  It'd be so nice if they had upgrades like pickaxes. But I guess that's the one of the only reasons to keep the mines in barri alive lol.
  
  I metallurge at the beach because it's...well.... a beach! 8D But also because I have to get really close to my computer to find the small sparkles in the river.

  Though for silver ORES, there is a secret mine in bangor where the chances of mining Silver/gold/copper are increased(by how much, I do not know).
  This pass is attainable by completing Sion's part time job.

  I prefer Irai. It's quieter. There are less people trying to get the same thing I want. Unless there are more bots now..

  holy crap I forgot about that! Hmmm, maybe I'll try it out. Is it A LOT of ore? Or just normal barri with the same amount?
