Why are posts so big?

  Posts like Athde's, Kazuni's and Xiyamae's are humongous.
  
  Athde and Xiyamae becase of their large signatures, which should be reduced.
  And Kazuni's due to her many pet icons.
  
  Even if they write a simple sentence, they're posts take up a large bunch of the screen.
  
  I want something more cleaner and compact, like this:

  Obviously, if we include 10+ icons below the forum information, it doesn't solve our problem. We'd have to find a way to deal with that. Either reduce the size of the icons or limit the user to how many icons they can show in each post (4 maybe?).
  
  I mean, we already have the option to see all the pet icons in our profiles. Why is there a need to display them all in every post? Posts will only get longer and longer as more and more are released.

  People will soon be able to decide on some preset sig space sizes, and on their screens anything larger will just be chopped off. There's also the option to disable sigs entirely which already exists. The position where sigs starts is already fixed on the new layout, too.
  
  For the number of pets displayed per person in the update the limit will be about 10 or so, pretty sure most people don't care about their profile pets and want to have them under their avatars, it's the main attraction to the whole system so we can't remove that or place any strict limitations.
