why is meditation a bad thing? lawl, doesn't it give you passive ap gain? made of win, in my opinion. but then again, I don't know much about what I'm talking about when it comes to Vindictus. :x

You spend more AP on it than it gives you.

It takes 385 days of meditation bonus to get back the AP used to get it to rank A.
to OP: Not worth a start over for just one rank.

It would sound useful if you don't actually play Vindictus a lot, and you just let your character just sit there.

The reason why ranking Meditation in Vindictus is a poor idea is because of its high AP cost. At least 1420 AP to reach rA Meditation from rF.
So you'll have to sink in a LOT of AP just for a tiny decrease in waiting time before the next passive one AP gain. Calculating to the point where rA Meditation will pay off the 1420 AP you spent to reach there, the "break-even" point is 395 real-life days. For the break-even point for rE Meditation, that alone is 183 days. Even though the idea of a high-rank Meditation seems to be geared towards players who don't play a lot, they'll have to plan to play a lot in the first place to get that much AP, which kind of defeats the purpose of not playing a lot to begin with.
