Reprocessing Items

  In the descriptions of things such as the Gnoll Leather Tunic and Chieftain Shoulder Armor, it says that the NPCs can reprocess them.
  
  I'm assuming that means taking it apart for raw materials, but I can't figure out how to do this at the NPC's.
  
  For items like that, is it better to just sell them to the store for gold or take them apart? Or do I need them for quests later on?

  You assumed wrong :3 , sort of. It means that the spare parts can be used to craft equipment, but they work just like any other material.

  They're used at Ferghus to craft equipment.
  The ones you have are used to craft the Crimson Rage set.
