Are you mining from the stones? They're less common from there but still drop pretty often. The sulfur golems drop a lot when you mine from them. I usually go to the volcano stones underneath the volcano when it's raining because you get flint also.

Well there are mods for it but we aren't allowed to mention it here, and I think they might be outdated anyways.
Try using the big brush to clean all the major empty spaces, then taking your time to go into details. It's better to leave bits of sulfur than get red spots.
And if you think you messed it up, change channels before it finishes. You can redo it that way.
Practice makes perfect, though.

Having "/logout" typed into the chatbar is a good method too, if you're doing bad. Just hit enter twice and the poor fossil is spared. If you have any extra mice around, or another computer that can run Mabi, you might want to try that. I do terribly on all but one (of four) computers and only one mouse is stable enough.

A tip for mining from golems, hopefully you have a mountable pet. Just keep the pet out and mine from the golem. Make sure your pet doesn't attack it or something. When the golem aggro's, finish that mine and then immediately get on your pet and take off. If a fossil dropped quickly land and grab it, if not continue to the next sleepy little golem :3

I use my elf. Hide, unhide, mine, hide, unhide, mine, etcetc. It takes some Mana pots, but it works ._.

Yea, they're kinda rare-ish. And have to restore them allmost perfectly.

I got robes with barely restore before.
It's random, perfect just gives you a slightly bigger chance. It's not much of a difference though.

With Fossil's at raspa, you can go half an hour easily and not get one if your unlucky, has happened to me before.
Say if you mined for approximatly 1 blessed pickaxe, you get anywhere from 3-10 fossils. thats my estimate i had.
Even if you were to get 75-99.8% restored the fossil the chance to aquire a robe, is very slim.
If you spam, you might get 0-2 robes a week. I'd say 0-1, but i didnt spend all week doing it.
Just practice and do them, takes time.
Also, prepare for combat, as plants, beetles, anteaters or even golems, if you get too close, they will aggro and attack. With Sulfur poisoning, you might end up dead.
