But Tutelary is so expensive.

I think Sentinel is currently more expensive then Tutelary actually.

And Sentinel is actually the more important of the two scrolls, as it gives 200 Def while Tutelary is closer to 100.

You should probably go with Master or Stone on your chest piece though. Restoration is a pretty bad scroll (even if I use it), and it's even worse for a Lann who can't proc it off blocking/absorb shock.

My set is literally the result of things sitting in my inventory.

Restoration has saved my butt a few times honestly, the life flare gods take pity on me.

Well just saying, not like I can make you upgrade your gear.

I just think getting a temporary boost to 10k Def would save you more often than being able to chain Life Flare.

It's more about what you could have than anything. Master will help both your crit resist (take less damage!) and really help your crit (free +5 crit!) which could serve defensive purposes as well as obvious offensive ones. I like this Master Enchant, infact Im going out to buy one right now. (After I make 6m)

As for the rest, I'm gonna leave it as is, or put more useless ES on them, I just dont have it in me anymore to work on my armor.

I do just fine in this game.

Completely understandable. I told myself I'd fix my Evie armor but I'm being a lazy fuck because I don't wanna spend that NX and I'm so busy working on Lann/Kai/other Evies that I haven't bothered.

Think you'll love Master, it's probably the best scroll in the slot, at least to me. Maybe Stone will be excellent vs the high attack bosses we're about to run into in S2. Even if it just had the crit it'd probably be the best for most situations.

Alright, with 9.6K defense dragons, maybe it has a purpose to turn 13K into 14K.

But going from Explosive to Relentless, for example, would be...

-1192 attack, obviously the big hit
+8 attack speed
+10 critical

Which is, well, better, in most cases.

Twinkling adds even more crit for those who love that, with no extra loss to attack but a loss to crit resist.

Don't worry too much about "fixing" things like balance, just get whatever adds the most benefit. Your balance will probably end up at 65-70+ though. I guess upgrading to a level 70 weapon would do that.

I like explosive though, big numbers are pretty.

In all honestly, as a sword lann I never cared much for attack speed. Though I would most likely go Relent Mael on a pair of infinities. but those are so hard to craft, I think I'll just wait for the s2 80 weapon.
