Heh, 0/4 at 16% and 1/4 at 40% is actually just about the expected odds. I wouldn't feel too bad about that~
Yep. Though according to those odds, my next one should reach +12.
I highly doubt it though.

If only odds carried over like that ;__; Then I'd have the most amazing of things by now.
Best of luck.

You too with your Force enchants. I really dread having to put r9s my Hammer/Sword, even if I'm going to be using Enchant runes.

Lost more than 1 mil total this week alone... and have gained absolutely none of it back. Crafting all kinds of exquisites is more of a pain in the butt than it looks.

Failed a 4th Force @ 49% and it destroyed my helmet. I'm so fed up with this **** that I'm not even going to use a helmet for a while because none of the ones on the marketplace come in pretty colors.
Managed to hit a 5.53% chance to have bad luck.
I just failed a 5th @ 49%, which broke my next helmet. Time to buy yet another new helmet.
Managed to hit a 2.71% chance to have bad luck.
Just failed a 6th Force ES @ 48%. Need another hat.
Managed to hit a 1.3% chance to have bad luck.
Would you just ****ing kill me already? I'm zero for six against all odds and it's costing millions per scroll.

I recommend you start botting or get some very nice friends. Too much loss.

I've seriously considered botting even before all of this but I've opted not to, for now.
Vindictus is getting to the point where gear is becoming as important or more important than skill and that's a pain in the ass. It's kinda possible to get around it now by just being really good but in the future, that probably won't be the case. Even as it is some things just can't be done solo without enough attack and others are literally impossible. I hear Hero Ingkara has some 14K defense, so anyone with under 14K attack is useless. That right there pretty much eliminates 99.9% of the community and about 60% of the level 70 regulars. It's only hero mode for now, but it won't be forever.
I feel it's worth adding that this is hurtful to both the people with low attack
and the people with high attack. If something comes out that only the elites can do, it means it's gonna be impossible for anyone to ever get a game. In Vindictus, equality is especially beneficial. I hope they've thoroughly thought this through.

I wouldn't say "useless." Even if someone has close to 15k attack, they'll only be able to do about double the damage of someone with 2k attack. Sure, there is attack speed and bonus damage from enhanced weapons to consider, but what I'm really trying to say is this seems like a perfect mission for using transformation. With transformation, I'd be close to if not crossing the attack cap for a boss with 14k Defense. Without transformation, I'm apparently in the bottom 60% of level 70s (12999 M.ATT).

Oh, is that how it works? I could've sworn hearing that if you have less attack than the enemy's defense, that you'd do one damage per hit.
As for the 60% of regular 70's having under 14K attack, that's just a random percentage I made up. It seems to me like only about 40% of 70's I run into in random Lionotus/Colru raid rooms get above 14K. I'm sitting at 13K, personally. These results may be skewed a bit because Lionotus/Colru are endgame things that people take pretty seriously and even if there isn't a direct 13K limit placed on a room, people with 9-11K may feel they don't belong there. The thing is, people don't do much else.
As for transformation, yes, it's great, but it only lasts a couple minutes. I'm guessing Hero Ingkara takes some time to kill.

I'm not sure if I'm reading you wrong, but someone with less than 14k attack will not be able to damage the boss with their attack. As in only the base damage of 900? and extra damage from enhancement will damage them. Does that make sense? It's not a lot of damage.
Transformations don't really help either because not only is the boss' defense multiplies but his hp is too. Too much hp to chip away in an hour.
It's a catch-22. You need good scrolls and gear that comes from these bosses, but you need good gear to fight them.

Yes, that 900 is exactly what I'm talking about. Given 15k attack, once you subtract the 14k defense, you're only working with 1900 vs 900 (which you can't get any less than this).

While you might not be able to kill the boss in the time of the transformation, it could very well make the difference between a successful run and a failed mission. Still, I would think it's quite possible to do with enough skilled people all transforming at the same time.

Yay for trying to make a swift helm. I haven't even touched the 1 million mark for about 3 weeks now.

Ninth Dreamwalker blown up.
2/9 on +10 to +11, 0/2 on +11 to +12.
(And both of these are 40% chances...)
It was random, the 8th DWLS didn't fail once on the way to +10, then it blew up. Then the next one took 4 runes to get out of +5...
(For those who are unaware, this is about 400m worth of weapons blown up)
(Oh, and might as well add this. Buying Dreamwalker Longswords for 2m, Thor Longswords for 1.5m. COD me)
---
Edit
Eleventh DWLS blown up. Neither of these two even made it to +11.
I'm at 2/11 on +10 to +11, 18% on a 40% success rate.

An accomplishment and a fail at the same time. Made 13mil, enough to buy the dye I needed to finish my Ingkells set, when I went to check the dyes were all bought out. I need a bloody 69-28-163 already!
