It's a new series, and probably isn't caught straight off because of the title.
And yeah, I thought of those series as well, when reading this. High hopes for the next few chapters of Enigma.

He probably won't be able to pull that off. First off, it looked like he really needed to concentrate hard to use his ability. Not to mention since he just learned how to apply it on something other than himself, that just makes it harder to do it on other things other than some photo. Then comes the part where if he were to erase the wall, the shadows would get him while he's doing that. If he were to erase the shadows, he could probably erase only one at a time, and there's most likely more than one.

The shadows only appear when there's an announcement, so he could just stop erasing the walls if he hears the announcement =x
