Smash mastery and Strength Mastery seem like good ideas I guess. Never played a Lann after Lv9 in CB, so idk.

Crit and Will mastery are a good way to go if you've maxed STR and Combat. Gliding Fury is epic, and both Critical and Will increase crit chances, thus improving the frequency with which you can sue Gliding Fury.

Smash Mastery is the way to go, since that's where most of your dmg will come from.
Critical Hit skill will help your Smashes (since Smashes are the only way to deal Critical as Lann/Fiona) by increasing Critical hit chances and dmg. Willpower Mastery will also up your Critical chances.
If those are done, there are routes you can take, depending on what you want. For dmg, you might want to work on a Smash skill (like Thousand Needles, Double Crescent). For dodging, Slip Dash Proficiency -> Nimble Dash. For Stamina recovery (so that you have reduced time between combos or dodging/sprinting), either Combat Respiration or Agility Mastery.

OK what about a brand new lann though?I don't have access to the smash mastery skill, so i ranked slip dash to D for nimble feet later, so next is combat mastery?

You'll need Combat Mastery to rD first for Smash Mastery.
I recommend ranking Slip Dash Proficiency to rD for Nimble Dash, since it helps a lot. After that, you can spend on Strength Mastery if you leveled that far, otherwise if you don't have the skills yet that you need to spend AP on, I suggest ranking Standing Endurance, so you can get up from being knocked down faster.

Okay I'm missing something because I'm level 17 or so and I have CM at rB, when do I get Smash Mastery? I read about CM being a Lvl18+ skill even though you start with it, are there 2 CMs? Do I not get Smash Mastery until then?
Atm I have CM rB, Slipdash rC, twin swords/light armor mastery rE, and str mastery is what I'm pouring points into ATM.

Nimble Dash isn't just helpful, for some fights it's almost necessary.
@DatOneGuy Never neglect to look through Ceara's skill books on a regular basis. I'm pretty sure she sells Smash Mastery.

Combat Mastery is granted to you for free early on for some reason (hence you don't need to buy the book). I never understood that.
Smash Mastery is from a skill book sold by Ceara.
