I was curious in terms of Armor Type what are the benefits over one another? I was looking at my weight and noticed that with Heavy Armor filling out my spaces I was entering the yellow weight limit. Now I know the skill reduces the weight, but at the same time I don't want to increase one armor type in case the other might actually be more beneficial to focus more upon.
In terms of Fiona, which type would pay off more to be using and why?

Since Fiona is more defense oriented, and your parties will usually expect you to tank, plate armor might be a better choice. Even though I haven't seen much plate armor(only 1 helmet), it seems way better than heavy armor. It may weigh more, but it also gives a crap ton more defense and stats. I think it's only worth using either Heavy or Plate later on though, considering there is no real tanking until probably after this OB content. For now, you might as well use the best STR/WILL set you can find.
That's just my opinion though.

It will be a while until you get a complete set of Plate Armor (Level 56 in Mabi Heroes, which should translate to level 112 with the curve change over here), so you'll need to rank heavy armor, it's not wasting points. Even though you may stop using them at some point.
Plate Armor requires a lot of weight to properly wear (plate armor mastery, standing endurance), but you'll want to wear plate armor when you reach that level.

You know, I never worry about armor I wear, but I plan on wearing the Crimson Rage set for awhile due to the +HP is that the right choice? O-o

Thanks for the replies. I was aiming towards plate thinking it might be best since she is defensive, but really thought 'maybe heavy is better stat wise' which kind of left me in a loop. I'll probably just raise heavy armor a little avoiding spending to much on it since plate is a likely choice in the future.
