Well, Vindictus-specific stuff then:
Evies who tell me I fail because I wear cloth armor.
The fact that I weant from being a ninja (broken ash) to a tea party attendee (rose drop).
The fact NPCs are only face portraits.
The extremely rare cutscenes. This game has so much more potential than Mabinogi to be an awesome cinematic experience, yet is used so much less.
When I ask "staff or scythe" (I'm a hybrid), people only respond once the boat starts. Pretty much the reason why I rarely ask.
The AP requirement of trans.
Staff Evies that only use firebolt at the boss.
The fact I'm forced to use Ferghus. I just don't trust the guy.
Not quite a pet peeve but- sometimes I wish the game was a little more like Fashionogi, so I could wear what looks cool rather than what increases stats.
I'm pretty sure there are more, but that's all I can think of that hasn't already been mentioned.
Pet Peeve: Dim Gray :< That jackass and his stupid slide kick D: Especially when he catches me off guard and then decides to do it 2 more times in a row ~_~ Even with r9 Standing Endurance there's nothing you can do D: NATHING!
I find playing solo and playing with a party two different experiences, and there are pros and cons to both that make it hard to compare each other. When you solo, you basically have control over everything that happens since most spawns and boss actions depend on your own action. Obviously, things don't spawn unless you reach a certain point (i.e. running down the stairs spawns Gnoll Chieftain). Also, you can manipulate boss attacks by your position relative to theirs (i.e. polar bear usually doesn't do his wide two slide attack if you're close, and Gnoll Chieftain only kicks when you're standing around his legs). That being said, I find that soloing is easier to predict and manipulate. With a party, it's sometimes hard to predict what the boss is going to do or who he will aggro. Adding the fact that you don't know what other party members are going to do and it makes it a lot less predictable. Of course, partying takes away aggro and adds additional damage dealt because of all the additional members, so it's honestly give or take on an individual's preference on what makes things easier. To me, parties don't always necessarily mean something is going to be easier.
Now, my pet peeve are people who think soloing is the only sign of skill. Of course, being able to solo shows you have skills. But it takes a different set of skills when you party due to the reasons I listed above. There are times when I can solo a dungeon perfectly without getting hit, but I've done the same dungeon with a party and found that I kept making stupid mistakes and getting myself killed/injured. I know tons of people who've said "man, I don't know why I'm doing so bad. Normally I can solo this easily" when I've dungeoned with them and they've died 3 or 4 times, and I know I've been in that same situation.
Except dodge.
