Lann, Dual Spear, Dark Knight. Just because it's ugly doesn't mean it can't be badass.

Fiona DK most likely... Self Destruction doesn't suit me but I admit Pally does look better...

Polls show that more voters chose Paladins than Dark Knights.
At the same time though, most of the posts on this thread correlate as:
If player is using Fiona, player would choose Paladin
If player is using Lann, player would choose Dark Knight
Some of you said choosing Dark Knight will draw out extreme power as Lann uses his DPS moves. Also for HP recovery. I don't see a concrete support for why Fiona players should become Paladins though, besides aesthetics.
The main point is though, it seems as if whatever class the player chose actually has influences over the choice of either being Paladin or Dark Knight. At least for Lann characters. Interesting design choice by devCAT.

Most people recommend specialization these days, so that may be why.
Lanns have good damage, so they go DK to make it even better. Spear Lanns also benefit from the heals as Liberate consumes HP.
If there is only one person left alive in a party, that person is usually a Fiona. Also, when Fionas become Paladins, they get a defense boost. Therefore Fionas benefit the party more when they're a Paladin.

And when fiona is the only one alive, she can go BOOM and revive everyone :D

I play Fiona and want to use hammers so I'm probably going to choose Dark Knight for maximum destruction. I don't really know why I would want a defense boost when I already have good defense and a shield to block with. Also the transformation only lasts two minutes so I'd rather do as much damage as possible in those two minutes. If I need help from the Paladin transformation to stay alive for two minutes of a boss fight then I'm just going to lose anyway when it ends. Really, the only way I could see myself going Paladin is if the amount of defense or other abilities allow me to wail on a boss near unhindered so that it negates the need for a damage increase by working out to do around the same amount of damage. As far as bringing teammates back to life...why would I want to blow myself up when I could just use a party revival feather? They really shouldn't be getting wiped in the first place anyhow.
I just can't help but think how powerful a fully charged hammer 4xL+R from a Dark Knight might be. :punch:

I'll have to see what Large Shields do before I make my decision.
If I'm able just to sit there with Heavy Stander to tank everything, that might change my mind.

Cause booming is so much cooler than a little party feather:thumb:

Party Feathers take ~4-5 seconds to activate, I'm guessing that the boom would be instant or something, or why would they bother making it? .__ .

The Paladin boom-revive skill probably gives the party members some kind of insane buff?

It seems like everyone thinks the Dark Knight is ugly. I think it's really cool personally. It reminds me of Venom and Carnage from Spider Man.
