Every time I go to climb a ladder I lag to a level not yet experienced by me. My specs are pretty alrght, my lap top is 2 years old. Anyone else experiencing similar problems?

I run 32bit windows vista and my video card is a NCIDIA GeForce 7150M/ nForce 630M

If your running on a DV9 your on 2.0ghz
If your on a DV6 your either 2.0ghz or 1.6ghz
if your on a DV2 your either at 1.9, 2.0, or 2.1

Your stock RAM is probably 2GB im guessing?

Ghz shouldnt be an issue, since a Single core pc, a pentium 4 clocking 3.0ghz is equiv to like a 1.4ghz Dual-core. maybe GPU on the frits... if youve been experiencing issues outside of the game your motherboard might be dying

I already completely fried one mother board about six months ago, completely covered by warrenty. Hopefuly it;s not the ame problem.

I was impatient, bought the 6449us, which I believe was launched early 2007. I sent it in for repair 8 times. 3 of those times motherboard was replaced. Then they released that recall. and I sent it in for Wifi & power-on issues... They replaced mobo again. I ended up selling it on craigslist for $250 since the board died on me again :/

Notice how post computer issue threads here pertain to DV2 DV6 & DV9 Models.... thats HP for you o.e
