Since I was young I've known there is something I wanted more than anything else; Frankly put, I want to win. I want to deserve a justification to my self-ingratiated ego that said I demand basic respect for my academic endeavors. And if I'm not aiming for #1 then why bother going to university? I'm scared of failing myself.
Other than that, I'm not too keen on hights on either.

When I was younger, I had arachnophobia and insectophobia but I got over it eventually (still f---ing hate bees though). I'm also afraid of heights. :D

I'm afraid of not knowing. Like not knowing what's around the corner, not knowing that one important answer in Math, or maybe it's not knowing what's going to happen next.. The thought just scares me for some reason.

Death. As an atheist, I've lost the comfort of "knowing" there is a heaven. The only reason I clung to the idea of heaven is because I was afraid, and I still am, but I see my "belief" for what it is.
Rape. Apparently I attract really strange men in random places that want to "walk me home" or give me their phone number.
I don't like bugs. I can't kill them either, though. Squeamish with that sort of thing.
The dark, or more precisely, what can hide in it.

Afraid of really big bugs and the things I might end up doing. The power of the human species seems infinite, so can't really be sure of my limits D:
OH YEAH. I'm afraid of fish >: Living ones though, not like I pee myself when I eat fish.

I am scared of bugs... mostly spiders.
I am scared of snakes, I am so scared of SNAKES SO F***ING MUCH. DX.. (will scream everytime I see one)
I hate heights so I'm afraid of height as well.
This is why I don't like to go onto the Stair or Escaltor, without having someone for me to hold onto. :<

Bees/Hornets. Bad memories when I was a kid where I got stung right on the knee and blood was gushing out of it (or at least I remember blood gushing from my knee, I was like 3 when it happened, so it's possible that my mind is a little hazy on that detail). So now I'm a little cautious when I see one buzzing about.
And up until last year, I had a crazy fear of heights. Couldn't even go up one step on a step ladder without my whole body shake and quiver to the point where the person who told me to climb actually told me to get down. And if you don't know how high off the ground the first step of a step ladder is, it's about 3". That's how bad my fear was. Used to climb alot as a baby by apparently building these amazing structures out of my toys so I can climb, and whenever my mom saw me climbing it, she grabbed me and put me back on the floor, so at such an impressionable age, my mind developed a mentality of heights are bad, I shouldn't be up here.
Of course, I got over my acrophobia by simple going "it's all in my head", and then I got up on a balcony at my dad's work that's attached only by a cable and a 4x4 plank of wood, and hanged over the side so that I could reach some cobwebs in a window. Still have that fear of bees though. :/

I'm afraid of the dark. Actually scratch that, I'm not afraid of the dark, I'm afraid of what's in it.
Also, Beetles can screw off. I'm afraid of those too. >:(

And also of embarassment.

Hrm. For heights, I'm fine with looking out a window. I just can't stand gaps or bars or anything like that. It's like if something the size of an apple can in any way fall off of where I am, then I will be terrified.
And when I tell my mom I don't want to go anywhere high, she says, "OH DON'T LISTEN TO YOUR DAD, HEIGHTS ARE FINE!~"
My dad's afraid of heights, and she thinks I'm only scared because I want to be like my dad ._.

lol, a lot of people sure afraid of heights...
I'm fine as long the area that my feet are standing on are solid, and there are at least bars, or something so that people can't fall over. Though, I refuse to look out the window on some highways and bridges, especially if there's a lot of cars around traveling at 60+ mph.
